Ahhhhh, so now your story changes just enough for you to save face. Nice try statz, but I'm not buying it. Hid <> swapped and ticket <> slip

It's entirely possible the clerk may have thought the ticket was yours but your paranoia and mistrust of others got the best of you. I'm not saying that is the case, but it is possible. You just don't have it in you to admit that you and the clerk were equally at fault. That's ok, no biggie, just trying to make sense of your story. I fully understand now.

I always purchase my tickets from the local beverage store where the clerks know me by name. If I make a mistake of some kind, they kindly point it out to me. I do the same. Just the other day the clerk gave me $18 too much back in my winnings and I immediately returned it to her. My signature pretty much says it all.

I have not heard of any play slip issues around here. I know the clerks I deal with much prefer it when customers use play slips. It speeds things up as far as they are concerned.

One or two stores not allowing play slips, possible but more than that, like to see how the state lottery explains it.

They just recently put the new payslips at t he stores here in town. It includes the new double play option. I just had them rescan old tickets that I keep.

Was it Quick Pick or Self Pick who knows ?????

Sometimes it's extremely difficult if not practically impossible to get people to disregard the smoke and mirrors. Instead, they seem to enjoy the ride down the proverbial Garden Path....... helpless to extricate themselves from being totally deceived by known forces in their midst who would argue that they have come here for the sole purpose of helping people. These forces would also argue that they have a winning MIRACLE system; that is, until asked to post numbers before the drawing !

I'm super late in the discussion, but family members who play the pick 3 and pick 4 daily has frequently said certain numbers were sold out. I know its not the same but they put a cap on the numbers.

In some states pick 3 triples are sold out almost every day. Really depends on payout limits and some are less than $2 million.

Can't imagine what would happen if players could not pick their own birthday and favorite dates, weren't allowed to play self picks, and the highest PB number is 24 in a $1 billion jackpot drawing.

Maryland has alot of sold out numbers too. Sometimes I have to resort to advance play to get them, so buy tomorrow's tickets today .

Yeah, The triples and mainly Pick 4 Quads and some P4 Triples sell out a lot here.

I don't bother playing Pick 3 trips because P3 payout is pari-mutuel.

It's not worth it..Pick 4 however is not pari-mutuel.
