Speaking about Lottery cutoff times, an Admin played a prank on an American Website. He lives in England which is 5 hours ahead of Florida. He had special editing windows where he could edit his own post whenever he wanted to. He would post stuff like, "I predict the English Lottery will be 2,5,8,9,25 with a lucky ball of 8, but I'm not playing." Later, he would show the English Lottery numbers were 2,5,8,9, 25 with a lucky ball of 8. He feigned disappointment, saying something like,"On hells teeth. Look at the winning numbers." A lot of us Americans were basically shouting at him in posts that he would have won MILLIONS if he had just played. He came clean and admitted that he posted his post AFTER the winning numbers were already drawn in England, making it look like his predicted the winning numbers when really he didn't, he just used his special editing window to trick us good!

"What's your ADDRESS?" May be the CREEPIEST question EVER asked to a Lottery Winner! O.O WTF?

At first, I found the one digit away draws kind of amusing, but now I am PISSED! 15 or 16 times I was off by just one digit in recent times!🤬 No longer find this amusing, it's making me REALLY angry now!🤬

Yeeaah, lookz like Playerz are leaning 2wardz dat "2 min" mark..

BTW for clarification,..cutoff time would be different, depending on whut time the drawing iz aired,..for example,.. Since MM & PB are aired at 10:59p & Ga Fantasy5'z aired at 11:32p, so 2-15 min before ea respective draw timez...

This poll doesn't explicitly state, but I assume you are referring to the cutoff time for posting numbers on Lottery Post's Predictions Board?

If so, the cutoff time is one hour before the draw time, in order to prevent people from gaming the system.

Many times lotteries tweak the draw times for various games without making a huge announcement about it. So the 1-hour policy protects us from instances where a lottery "silently" changes a draw time, and since we aren't yet aware of it, our predictions board is still programmed with the old draw time. If the lottery silently changed the draw time to 10 minutes earlier, and we allowed posting numbers up to one minute before draw time, someone could watch the drawing and then post the winning numbers as a prediction.

It would be rare for a lottery to change the draw time a full hour without making some kind of announcement; hence the 1-hour cutoff time.

Yea, I hear ya Todd.., but I was specifically referring to each STATE's cutoff time when their Terminals no longer accept Bet Slips..Mainly for MM & PB. So, yea, I figured LP had its own reasons, such as...

Maybe that's why the "2 min" option is a bit more popular..

Wasn't trying to make a debate on why societies for thousand of years created rules. regulations. and laws. Governments even created ways to vote and amend many laws.

Nothing wrong with speaking out, but if that's all you do, it's usually a waste of time. Based on your response, IMO it looks like you're obsessed with not following rules, regulations, and laws.
