That is interesting. In my state, the Lottery limits how many tickets can be sold for a certain combination. One time I went into a store and someone was trying to buy 7777 and was told it was sold out so I guess that isn't an issue here.

I play my wife's birthday on Pick 5 and she plays mine on Pick 4. She won $2600 once on it, but I have yet to win on mine. Even so, I keep trying.

I use three strategies daily, the mirror box strategy, adding the Win 4 # (NY) by 7 down a line until I reach the same number back example 6629

circle the date sum 7/9 (7+9=16) you would use the last number which is a 6 and circle the 6's then add the number 6629 (6+6+2+9=23) then add the 23 together (2+3=5) and underline the 5's. This strategy is effective. Sometimes the numbers will touch the 6 or the 6 can be used. I also use the Fibonacci sequence where I take the number and multiply by x2, x3, x5, and x8 respectively

6629 x 2= 13,258 you would only use the last four digits which would be 3258. Then follow the same for the next ones. I love lottery post because I can track numbers across states and hope I catch it when it comes to my state lol

I have tried and given up on many systems.

Mirrors (one straight pick 3 over 2 months)

Followers (one straight hit over 6 or so months)

Latent Repeating Sequences [LRS] (3 pick 3 straights and one pick 4 straight in about 5 months of actively playing)

Latent Out-of-position sequences [LOOPRS] no hits

V-tracs - no hits

+n - n - no hits

And this was just on the pick n daily games.

Systems get infinitely more difficult when you are trying to pick just one combo...

Currently exploring the vectors between draws (angle , length) and some entry level machine learning algorithms to put a probability on each of the 19 possible vectors that exist between draws. (Pick n)

Pick 3: I've hit over half the ways listed in the poll, mostly license plates. The best way to play is a few favorites and a few that change regularly. One week I'll try 5-6 random numbers each day.

Pick 3 winners come more often. Hitting a Pick 4 straight is tough although I've had that experience 4-5 times.

I play dates, especially my birthday (Jan. 4).

These were the first five times that Virginia drew 104.

Sat, Oct 2, 2004 Virginia Pick 3 Day 1-0-4

Tue, Mar 2, 2004 Virginia Pick 3 Night 1-0-4

Thu, Mar 5, 1998 Virginia Pick 3 Day 1-0-4

Tue, Jan 20, 1998 Virginia Pick 3 Night 1-0-4

Tue, Jan 28, 1992 Virginia Pick 3 Night 1-0-4

Three of five wins on Tuesday nights, three of five wins on Numerology 2 days (2nd, 11th, 20th, 29th*), four of five wins in January or March. I looked for days matching these criteria and came up with Tue. 03/29/2005. So, I decided that 104 would win on Tue. 03/29/2005.

Lo and behold ...

Tue, Mar 29, 2005 Virginia Pick 3 Night 1-0-4

Unfortunately, on that day, I forgot my prediction, did not buy a ticket, and did not remember my prediction until I checked the results the next day.

104 has not come up on a Tuesday #2 in Virginia or in March since then. It's come up on Tuesdays, on Numerology 2 days, on my mom's birthday, on my cat's birthday, on the other date the number stands for (Oct. 4), and even on Christmas Day, but not a Tuesday #2 or in March.

I won $100 (my large rat prize) off Pick-3 Boost playing 104 on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. One of my randomly selected boost numbers was 068; they drew 068.

Since I play only when I visit my parents (I live in an RNG state), I might just run an analysis and switch from the dates to the most frequent combinations.

Today's winning 3-ball is going to be a number between 000 and 999.

In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!

Just talking about the non-balls-falling lotto games - Pick 3 the most common one...

When you say it's "random," you're wrong.

"Random" has no meaning in that context. Might as well say its "red," or "insouciant," or "pelican"

It's not "random," though.

Better to say, "it's performing against an algorithm I don't/can't comprehend."

But just a basic effort of tracking, say, pairs, reveals... there's **patterns at play**.

So it's by no means "random."
