And is there a difference between creating your own random drawing and analyzing that data opposed to analyzing a lottery random drawing?

It depends on what you believe about the numbers. Non replacement draws like the 5 white digits in power ball are different even from the 1 red ball, as that is non replacement... like a single digit in the pick 3, but with more possible outcomes.

With frequency analysis, you can take the same steps at prediction IF you isolate the non replacement draw results in sorted order and treat them as separate columns... it will result in a result that technically has the highest probability of coming up... however, these same strategies do not work on the easier pick n games so they cannot be expected to work when mis applied to the unique mechanics of a non replacement draw.

A consistent prediction method is still the holy grail of any system developer... and still missing...

Do you know how often the powerball ping pong balls are changed and the machines they are drawn from?'

And you're correct, analyzing a game with 1000 possible outcomes obviously much different than a game with 11,688,054 excluding the bonus powerball. The Texas Lottery has 1252 pick3 drawings every year and 156 PB drawings so it should be very obvious "size and quantity of numbers drawn" make a huge difference. It's possible every possible outcome can be drawn in the Texas pick3 in a year and even if PB had 116,881 drawings a year, that's only 1% of possible outcomes.

Can you say for a fact that PB combo will be drawn sometime in the next 75,000 years (assuming of course there still is a PB game)?
