  I chose over 1000 miles away.. That's at least a state away. I live in a very popular and heavily populated city so I would want to move far away, move to a small town/rural place where I could enjoy my jackpot in peace without a lot of people hassling and harassing me for money. I'd want to move to a place like Wyoming that's not really popular or heavily populated.

  I would split my time between where I live now and a warmer state during the winter.  Perhaps Palm Beach or Boca.  I could join the Maralago club if I had $ 1 million to spare for the fee. Love the people running that state.

  I did not pick a distance because if I won tonight's Mega Millions, I would love to live in all the four regions of the US for two years in each region, that is Northeast, Midwest, South, West.

  While in the four regions, I would love to travel to the nine regions namely; New England, Mid-Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central, South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central, Mountain, and Pacific.

  That would enable me tour all the States.

  When I was in the Army guys used it as a location they were stuck in while waiting for parts for vehicle repairs.They did this when they had orders to go to undesirable units or locations, hoping the Army would give those orders to someone else.
