a friend and i were talking about whether or not either of us would hire a personal chef if we won the lottery. she said yes because cooking for her family is her biggest and least favorite chore. i said no because i'm stuck in my ways and prefer my usual meals.

is this something that has crossed your mind if you won the lottery?

Well, I might hire extra help, snow removal would be a big one, I'm picky about who fixes my food, I never eat fast food and rarely go to restaurants, I do like Chic fil A ,yum.

I would get my husband a membership at a Golf club, and I would get some more dogs, hehehehehe.

Brock Lee..........Good question! No change for me! Mostly 'hand food', sandwiches, hot dogs No Ketchup, and pizza. My uncles on the Italian side always said pizza is the ideal food because you get all four food groups on each slice!

As the hot dog diner owner said on the History Channel food documentary said ketchup on a hot dog is an abomination unto the hot dog! Sully I understand the dogs but your husband is addicted to the Curse of the Scottish Sticks! I &;&!@( golf because I $/!& enjoy it!

I'm mostly not worried about risks as a result of winning the lottery, but $50 a week for fine chocolates being chump change could have a downside. Maybe I'd be more likely to pay $5 for a package of Thomas' English muffins at our usual grocery store, but no matter how much money I had I think they'd still seem wildly overpriced. Other than that I don't imagine my eating habits would change much. I'll often buy the cheaper version of some things, but only if it's good. The extra $2 for real Oreos instead of the store brand version is worth it so I already buy them if I want Oreos. For a lot of other stuff the store brand is good enough That I'd keep using it.

I like cooking enough that it's not really a chore, but I could see letting somebody else peel the dozen bulbs of garlic when I need a new batch of roasted garlic. Of course that's still a small enough job that you'd need to add some other stuff, so having somebody also make a couple of big pots of soup could be sensible. And maybe I'd eat more risotto if I had somebody who was really good at making it.

Mostly, though, cooking doesn't take that much time. I wouldn't really want people around the house that much but paying somebody to do cleaning and laundry would be a good way to free up some time.

He played hockey since he was 3 , and finally he had to hang up the skates and picked up a different stick.

I gave up all sugar for Lent, Easter Sunday I have a date with some nice chocolate.

Good for the pups! 🐶. As for the other I knew a guy who constantly said " :..!;!/ golf relaxes me". We all cracked up when he did.........Pick up a different stick, you're killing me!

A greenhouse, grow more food, buy some good fertilizer in bulk.

Huge change by cutting out all the caffeine and boredom snacks required to get through a 10.5 hour shift...

No "staff" though, hired help is always a weak security link.

I would like to build one of those robotic gardens to grow fresh veggies.

Got to go with Maine lobster, hard shell not the soft shell, perhaps 3-4 times a year. Might as well have it flown in to the nearest airport. Had it while in Florida. Much better than the lobsters from that part of the world.(IMHO) Might as well add Filet Mignon on a regular basis too.
