  Are these numbers somehow significant? That so many people played them. I guess they could be birthdays, other than 35... But is there anything famous with these numbers, like sports players or Bible verses or something?

  Maybe not sports , because it was multi-state . So maybe a common set of numbers produced by the computers . I believe computers don't generate true randomness ( quick pick generators)  . So this is one of the effects .

  I know what happened.

  Many years ago, I had a dream that vampires existed and a couple of the powers that they had were the ability to be invisible, the ability to walk and reach through solid objects, and limited powers of telekinesis. Like, they couldn't move an army tank from 100 yards away, but they could certainly move a lottery ball from a couple of feet away or simply reach through a ball machine and grab a ball to make it come out next.

  So, clearly, this is what happened. A few vampires needed an influx of cash, so they bought tickets in a bunch of states and then headed to Tallahassee to rig the drawing. Now you know.

  According to ChatGPT this isn't possible in a random system. Especially 89 second place winners mostly from lower populations states. 19 from Indiana and 11 from Louisiana on total ticket sales at 9,400,000.
