  IMHO I hit my son pretty good with that zinger about him not jumping out the 11th floor window. You should have been in the room with us when I said it and seen him throw his head back with laughter.  My wife says he's a huge chip off the old block and he's gotten pretty good at hitting me with a darn good zinger too.  We've been doing that to each other for years. You can't possibly know that, but it's true.  You also have absolutely no idea of how incredibly proud I am of all three of my kids. G5

  There has been quite a bit of jumping to conclusions in this thread. Like about SEO which is very true. But I didn't say Google was my first choice for finding a good estate planning lawyer. I'd take a look at SuperLawyers first, ask a neighbor who's a retired attorney who he thinks might be a good local lawyer etc. Lawyer's know who among their profession is a good attorney and who they'd never hire. Never ask your neighbor who's a plumber who a good doctor is because he has no clue about that!

  Just because a guy's website looks good, doesn't mean much. For all I know, that local lawyer could have graduated last in their class in law school but they'd still be called a lawyer.  And lawyers that say they're qualified to make any statement doesn't guarantee they're automatically a good lawyer.  They might be, but who really knows if they are or not???  G5

  But your children are not making these one sided negative comments on a popular website. Understand? Calling your daughters trouble when they visit, is negative. You do not even realize what you disclose.

  You are really backtracking on your prior comments. When you suddenly backtracked, you just repeated what I said earlier.  There was no confusion.

  You do realize that all major companies and financial institutions and others have paid staff to monitor for references to the company .  Not smart to say where your son allegedly works.

  Actually, he very recently surprised me with a phone call.He resigned from JP Morgan!!  They taught him well about M&A that he learned enough from them about it and he's in the process of buying a business located in Connecticut. 
  He says most of the guys he worked with do the same thing. I'm his old man and I do have to say he scared me more than just a little bit.  He's got two babies and a wife to feed not to mention a whopper of a mortgage payment. They also have car payments neither of which I can afford. Hope that business he's buying doesn't go belly up.  He's in his late thirties and I guess he knows what he's doing.  G5

  Omg. He posted less than 24 hours ago that his son worked for Morgan Stanley and now, to cover his error, is giving an excessively detailed story as to why he does not work there 24 hours later.

  People who are pathological liars tend to give excessive and unneeded details. None of this passes the "straight face" test.

  Look, you can legitimately ask me "Just how do I know what you posted is true".

  My reply would be "Well you don't, but it's true." That's all I can do. 
  Here's a bit more of unneeded and excessive details for you.  I asked him "Why are doing this?"

  His response was "The JP Morgan Partners keep the lion share of Carried Interest.  The troops only get a little bit of Carry. I can't make nearly as much money as I can working for myself." He's leveraged to the nines buying that business.  He says it's a risk and reward thing.  He's got more guts than I have, that's for sure. That's why I'm as proud of him as I am.  G5

  I can always tell the level of education of an alleged "man" that resents well educated women. They are resentful due to their lack of success in life.
