Since you are new here, after you click on "Reply" to respond to someone, click on the box where it says "Include original post in your reply". That will put a check mark in the box and then everyone will know exactly who you are responding to. One caveat, do not include any links in PM's until you lose your new member status or you will be suspended. If you delete/erase the link in your PM reply you'll be good. You see the little white bars under "standard" by your avatar? If you click on the first one it says new member. When the first one turns blue you will become a "rookie" and then you can post links in the PMs. The system here does it automatically. More info here. https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/215275
No one here is doubting what you said. There is a difference in how you claim a ticket. When you win $600 or less it can be cashed at a retailer or in your case at the bar where you were playing because there are no taxes so there is no claim form to fill out. Anything over $600 you need to fill out the claim form for tax purposes. And that is where the issue is in this instance. But you already know all that. Now the lottery office may say we did this back in Sept and it was on channel 6 news so it was made public, if you didn't know about it that's not our fault. There is one other possibility. I'm just gonna say it. The friend that you owed the money to, he said the ticket was his own, filled out a claim form, got the money for it and gave you a story about them keeping the ticket. Now if you signed the ticket yourself before he went down there that could be a different story. If you go down there with your other friend or maybe the guy from Jake's to say it was your ticket all along maybe that might work. I hope it all works out for you. Good Luck!!!
