What was the lottery commission thinking making a $20 Cash Pop ticket? O.O Many people balj at a $5 Mega Millions ticket, let alone a $20 Cash Pop ticket! O.O We are in a recession. A $20 Cash Pop ticket is absurd. O.O I'd rather buy 2 $10 Grouper Super Samplers for the same price as a $20 Cash Pop ticket! O.O

I agree about the $20 price but there are gamblers that will pay it.
We are not in a recession. There are no economic indicators of a recession. We are growing on all factors.

$1 cash pop, average return is about 59.42 cents per dollar spent
$2 cash pop, average return is about 62.46 cents per dollar spent
$5 cash pop, average return is about 64.68 cents per dollar spent
$10 cahs pop, average return is about 67.43 cents per dollar spent
$20 cash pop, average return is about 70 cents per dollar spent
on average you'd lose less money buying a single $20 cash pop than twenty separate $1 cahs pops. although if you buy twenty separate $1 cash pops and pick every number at least once, you're guaranteed to win something.

If you don't like the $20 Cash Pop ticket, Florida Lottery's $500,000 Cash Blitz scratch-off ticket must really upset you. Most stores selling lottery products have stands usually with a ticket scanner and play slips near the Kiosk machines. Saw stacks of opened $20 scratchers over an inch high right next to the scanner and the trash can is usually full of $5, $10, and $20 losing scratchers.
Next time you're in a store selling lottery tickets, compare the number of different $1 and $2 scratchers to the number of different $5 to $50 tickets and then is should be obvious to you lots of people are playing are playing the higher denomination scratchers.

Just because the President said “not possible for the federal government to fund Medicare, Medicaid and child care costs". it doesn't mean we're in a recession. The price of gas is only up 55% since March, but the 3.5% inflation should offset that next January when Social Security recipients get an over 3% cost-of-living adjustment providing they don't lose their Medicare and/or Medicaid benefits.
Besides, how could we be in recession when we can afford things like reflecting pool make-over, a White House Ball room and paying all the lawsuits stemming from the ICE illegal activities?
Move on folks, no recession or potential recession to see here!

You could always get a $100 scratch off instead.

There are 3 categories of numbers. Consecutive Pairs, Non Consecutive Pairs, and Doubles. If you don't want to lose your money, then don't play the one that's not hitting.
