Since the 10M is after taxes I'd pay off a few outstanding family mortgages and give each one some spending money to boot. Then I'd dissappear for a year going where the wind blows me.

After I got everything invested, and after I buy my kids everything in a Toys 'R' Us store, I would buy a house. But I couldn't afford the "house of my dreams" with just $10 million, so I would have to settle for something else. Here's what I would buy if I won a Jack Whittaker size jackpot.

                Pretty cool house, Thomas.

It's interesting viewing the vote counts.  My ? asked what you would do first but being it a 10M net, and as long as your dream houses isn't priced well into the millions (ie. Thomas's link), one could probably do all of the above.

Maybe 10% is a lot to donate to one organization such as the lotterypost.com.  Todd's request of 5%, even with 500K, I'm sure he can do wonders and hire more people to help out.

However I would still donate 10% if I used his random pick generator and WON!!!

I probably would NOT buy an annuity with ANY of it

Once again.  Read the question the poll is asking.  Obviously, you don't know how to follow directions.

That house has been for sale longer than a year. I hung a pic of it on my wall that long ago at least. Only pitfall is that it's on a golf course & has TONS of windows that'll be smashed by wayward golfballs! I do like the turret. Cool house. You can always mortgage a multi-million $$ home, so the payments come from interest & good investments... Me, after living here a year or so I'd move, have my dream home built, get my Master's degree, prob start my own business.... or just travel. But the very first thing is to replace my clunky 88' car with a PT Cruiser.
