Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there.  There must be plenty in this forum.  I hope you all have a special day.

My children and I wrote a Father's Day blip to my husband and their father on my homepage if you care to take a look.

We have been truly blessed.

Sandy

    Thanks Sandy...

Also a special Happy Father's Day to all the single Mom's out there.  As a single Dad, Mother's Day is just as important to me, if you know what I mean.

Of course I know what you mean, Rick.............yes to all the single moms out there also........

I miss my dad; he taught me so much about life.  I never knew that when I was growing up.  I was rebellious.  Thank God my husband came along and it was then I grew up.  I wish I would have listened more to my dad; I regret that the most. I blew him off most of the time and forgot alot of stuff he told me and showed me.

Rick, single dads and single moms are the toughest people I know.  It is tough raising children.  They are to be commended for having the strength to do it by themselves.

            Sandy,

Good comments about your Dad and thanks for starting this thread.  It made me think about my Dad too.  In fact after all my "number crunching" today I kept coming up with 905 for IL.  Then I realized his birthday was May 9th (509), so it's a "must play" for me.

Visiondude, I had to take the duct tape off my sons a few years ago when they started getting bigger than me.  Now I'm the one wrapped in duct tape...lol

                    Hi Sandy,

Thank you for the nice wish!  I want to wish all the forum Fathers a Happy Father's Day...

I had a great Father's Day today starting with a brunch at a Restaurant called Triple Crown.  The Restaurant is noted for it's theme as the owner had horses that competed in the Kentucky Derby and others. They have everything you can think of to eat and I did a lot of it but hey it's only one day a year - right?  And to top it off when we came back to the house, I opened my presents up and got over a hundred dollars in Mega Million tickets from the kids.  The kids know I only accept lottery tickets as gifts because when they get me anything else, I always give it back to them or take it back to the store and take it off their charge account.  They know me I hope by now - that my weakness and love is for the lottery.

                    Good Luck Lep
