    DonnaH:

I find it very helpful in choosing my "white" balls and my "red" ball by setting up a chart using Excel. Down the right side of your sheet, number your game. I use Mega Millions so the numbers would be 1-52. Accross the top, list the dates of each drawing. Make your grid to be about 1/4 inch squares accross and down.

Each game, color in the "white balls that hit in "black" Color in the Power Number in "red"

Mark each game up and down on your chart. It takes at least 10 games to see the patterns that will take place. You will also see what numbers hit after certain numbers. Some hit, skip 1 or 2 or 3 and hit again. The more you observe, the more you will see happening.

For tonight even though it's only 10M, I choose to "wheel" these numbers. 3,5,10,14,20,26,28,36,39,40,47 & 50

    Hope I'm on target ???

Anyway, hope this bit of information is helpful to some of you. Let me know.

    Ken

Lets see if we are on track for Power Ball tomorrow.

I think these numbers have a possibility of hitting.

      10,13,14,16,18,20,28,31,35,38,40,42,43,46 and 48

I will probably "wheel" these number for about 40 combinations, plus or minus.

          Hello DonnaH,

If you plan to play 42 combinations you might be able to cover all the numbers.  If you compare the last 74 drawings (since the powerball changed), you will notice that the combinations seldom match 3's and match 2's two to six times.  If you filter out those combinations that have matched three, you may have a better chance of matching more than the powerball.

Can you explain what you mean by the combinations seldom matching 3's, etc. Thanks!

            Good luck,

            Greg

Thanks Greg for asking that question.  By being new to the lottery world I wasn't quite sure what that meant as well.

Thanks for all of your wisdom-filled post.

              Wish you all Millions!

Where is the Powerball website?  I need to download a copy of their drawing history.

                      To Greg,

When you check the last draw with the history of PowerBall drawing, it hadn't not matched any of the previous 73 drawings by more than two numbers.  The newer format 5/53+1/42 started on 10/09/02.  The last draw 15 19 27 36 44 +17 matched 2 of the 11/23/02 - 15  16 19 21 49 +05.  That's what I mean when I say match 2 and etc.

P.S.  You can check PowerBall at www.Powerball.com
