Hey there RickG,
if you don't quit with the negative thoughts in front of your mirror, you will be right about not having a winning number. I don't know what you know about the forces of the mind but it's very powerful. The subconscious does not care or rationalize between positive thoughts and negative ones. What you think will happen if the thoughts are strong enough. Although you might look cute in your Shirley Temple suit.
PS~ Don't forget to put on the large collar too!!! HAH, hah! Yes, I remember wearing that atrocity and some ugly old bags (Aunts and such) kissing me with that smearable lipstick that got all over everything! Gods, I'm glad that's done with.

Your comments brought out a lot of good ole memories for me and it looks like for almost everyone here at the forum. My folks had an old "brownie" camera and we would click away at Easter time with all 5 of my sisters smiling all over the place with all their matching purses and shoes. But since I was in the middle of my three brothers I kinda got the left overs from my older brother - did you ever have to wear left over shoes that were too big? I remember standing to get the picture taken and my shoes looked like they were from a 3-D movie- they stuck out so far! My brother wore a size 8 and I was about two sizes smaller so you can picture how that looked.
Anyway Rick, here's wishing you luck on the 169 and thanks for bringing back such good memories - but I would like to see the picture - win or lose!!!

at times it felt like a cloister. one hat in particular - windy easter - mom put a rubber band under my chin to hold hat in place. those were the days - huh?

Hmmmmm I did play it on midday. And I am playing it tonight. looks might slim. But maybe Ca. If not, I definitely want to see a picture. But I still wish you good luck.

Thanks to all you guys for your support to keep me from becoming a spectacle...as Jackie Gleason used to say..."I gotta big mouth". I checked my single pick from yesterday and although I was close in several states, the 386 did not come in anywhere in the US. After that I realized there only half as many drawings on Sunday so I'm getting a little nervous here.
My other picks for tonight (box format) are 168-189-689. I'm hoping that if one of these falls, you guys will give me a break and I'll be spared from the wrath of Chicago's 'finest' and won't have to use Lucky's Brownie camera, peglegs argyles, and a borrowed scanner to give a picture to you all. (Could you see me in Cook County's holding pen wearing that outfit? ouch...please stop punching me). The headlines will read something like "Little Lord Fauntleroid Gets a New Hemorhoid"....lol

Great. Something to improve my disposition. Since I didn't seem to get any offers to beat me with a stick (yet). I am sure your post made quite a few people laugh and brought smiles to their faces. So, even though I am still holding out for Ca tonight, let me be the first to let you off the hook if it doesn't play. Only because you made me laugh. But if the others don't let you off the hook I might just peek at the picture. lol After all, it is all in good fun. Deb

Man I am so bummed....just got home and saw that IL came in 926...a number short or long depending on how you look at it I guess.. Haven't had a chance to check the other states yet, but it's not looking good for me and the Easter picture folks. Lucky...I may need to borrow that old Brownie camera. Emily, I don't have an easter bonnet so I'm counting on you babe. Just picked up my older son from O'Hare and a vacation in MT with my sister and he says he'll run interference for me when I'm running around in my bonnet and short pants......but I still don't have these items lined up cuz I thought I was gonna win.
So I owe you guys a picture at least. I'm not too computer literate...would I be able to scan a picture and insert it in a post here? I don't know how these things work, so let me know how to do it......UNLESS.... CA, the west coast,...I still have a chance tonight.
This has been great fun. Thanks to you guys for all the laughs we've shared.
