Something must be out there somewhere from another field that can help... I like the Data Mining idea, I have toyed with less-than user-friendly implementations of neural networks, but it was always for the big jackpot games, might be worth a re-visit just for the PB or the individual numbers in the 3 digit and 4 digit games.

I have tried some very basic steps into the randomness synchronization theory, no luck yet, but I haven't even seen 1% of the tip of that iceberg... Statistics... no luck, bell-curve analysis... O.K. but still not enough.... Announcer numbers...not working out for me... Draw "fingerprinting" (odd/even + high/Low + up/down + Decade + LD (Last Digit) + Sums), zip...zero...zilch.

getting a bit frustrated at a 2 month lack of any reasonable hits, But also realizing that I just may be genuinely too stupid to use what's available... so maybe it's time to go and find problem solving tools from other areas... but what? Neural Networks? Bayesian Networks? Stock Forecasting programs?

Any other off-the wall ideas to investigate?

Your making it too HARD try a SIMPLER APPROACH and use MORE SKILL remember your gambling. All you need is a good NUMBER SELECTION technique and a GOOD Lottery Program to Wheel and Filter your numbers. The TOOLS you need already exist you just need to put them together by developing a strategy for there use.All the methods and techniques you mentioned didn't work for you right?

well why not? I don't think it's because your "Too Stupid" that's not the Problem you seem very intelligent from reading your Post so I believe you just haven't discovered an effective way of using the TOOLS available.I had the same problem not being able to use any of the tools out there to increase my chances for a WIN.So what I've been doing is going over all the existing methods and my own strategies and combining them plus experimenting to see what works and what doesn't.So far I've come up with some pretty GOOD ideas that I'm currently TESTING!!! I couldn't do any of this without owning some PRETTY GOOD Lottery Software

      to help with analysis.

But you look at all those and no systems gaurentees anything really.  Numbers come out in a random fashion.  Can't change that much.  If your state using a computer to draw numbers well then there is a algrorithm that gives those numbers.  but you would have to be a math genius in every way possible to crack that.  Now in most states we have the common white balls.  If it is truely random nothing will tell us what happens next.  I mean there is odds of things happening but that never gaurentees us anything.  Those balls come up whenever they feel like it.  I mean last Christmas i hit 3 boxes in four days.  Guess what they were easy picks.  A computer randomly picked them for me.  And if you can get a system that actually works...bye bye lotteries....there not there to lose money.

Computer Picks don't work for everyone just because you hit with them doesn't mean anything.I never hit using them in the 3 yrs I tried so I learned how to select my own numbers and started hitting in the Pick-3/4 games 3 times straight for Pick-3 and 4 times boxed in the Pick-4.My new strategies are geared for the Pick-5 and 6 games what everyone doesn't seem to realise is that SYSTEMS only present statistical data/information for the player to interpret and make an intelligent decision on what numbers and variables to select. It's totally up to the PLAYER on whether he'll HIT any numbers or not a SYSTEM doesn't have a BRAIN too think like we do.We are gambling just like the Professional Casino Gamblers and they rely on strategy, skill and expertise by studying the game when they play against the house or any of the easier games that don't have such a HIGH advantage against the PLAYER.Your right no system or software can GUARANTEE anything but I don't use them for that purpose they are TOOLS used to help analyse and develop strategies for yourself.I know players that play the game by using the ODDS and STATISTICAl ANALYSIS approach and hit more often than quick-picks.The Numbers are Random but they form Patterns and Biases because not all of the numbers are drawn at 1 time only 3,4,5 or 6 depending on what game your playing so there's a REASON why those particular numbers came up and by studying the draw history you can select a GROUP of numbers in order to TRAP the WINNING numbers then Wheel and Filter your number combos. No system will break the Lottery but it can increase your chances of winning more often than quick-picks as long as your good at using them.If you feel the only way to win is by using Quick-Picks than that's the only way you will ever win.Quick-Picks don't work for everyone because Lady Luck doesn't give everyone a helping hand and Systems/software don't work for everyone because not everyone knows how to use them properly. And if you readsome of the post in here a member mentioned how a guy in his state has a SECRET SYSTEM that he uses for the Pick-5 and has won more than once but refuses to share his method. So that proves my point plus I have corresponded with many other players that use software/systems with goodresults much better than when they used Quick-Picks in the past.
