Out of the five white balls, only three were repeaters from the november draws, the number 26 was the only number that hit 3 times this month.

Do you consider a ball to be "hot" because it hit 3 or 4 times in a month? Do you play that # then?
I always considered a # to be a HOT number only if it has "hit" more than five times in the last ten games, or "hit" twice in a row, or "hit" then "skip" then "hit" again. And usually, if a number "hits" that hasn't "hit" in ten or fifthteen games, most generally it will get "hot" most of the time, not always though. There is a % to look at though.

I guess your theory is OK, I just like to see a number "hit" at least 4 or 5 times in the last 10 draws before I consider it hot. Or, "hit" skip, "hit" again, "hit" skip one or two and "hit" again.
There are patterns like #30 for instance. Going back to 9-16-03, it "hit", skipped four games "hit", skipped five games, "hit" again, skipped three games and "hit" again, skipped two games and "hit" again. These are the kind of Stats. I pay attention too. More over, the Bell-Curve is very important to me because it let's me see where the number's are heading ie: high number's, low number's. Or if the number's in the next draw will be drawn more from the center of the number range ie: 20's or 30's range.
This really narrow's your number choices especially if your "wheeling" 12 or 18 number's. And, you have a budget your working with to capture the best possibilities of the number's that "hit."
Just my opinion for what it's worth...

What you said makes sense, so I put a feature in my program with a loop that would check any amount of previous drawings back to the last drawing plus the amount to be checked. Since I have 161 drawings in my MegaMillions file, I checked the previous 10 drawings for the last 151 drawings and this is what I got.
A / N , A=appeared in previous 10 drawings, N=number of numbers
0 / 275
1 / 293
2 / 138
3 / 42
4 / 6
5 / 1
As you can see,there were only 7 times that a numbers in any drawing had been in the 10 previous drawings 4 or more times and only 6% of them had been in the 10 previous drawings more than two times. Actually only 29 numbers appear on the average, one of more times in a 10 week period. That is the reason I defined active numbers a little differently. You and I look at the same numbers differently. You look at what they are doing now for the last 10 draws while I look at how they behaved for the last 10 previous draws for 151 drawings and use the most common factors from all the observations. But as you said, you have a smaller group to work with which makes them easier to wheel. That's what posting is all about, sharing ideas. Thank you for your thoughts also.

an excellent idear!
dont find regulation from the past.Find one or two active number from your prediction result then replace the cold number with active numbers..remember findthem in your prediction but the past draws

I understand fully what you do, and there is certainly nothing wrong with going back that far with the past drawings. I myself, on occasion go back and check drawings 50 or so drawings back just to see if a certain number is still acting the same now as it did back then. Meaning is it still "hitting" after or before a certain number, etc.

Chief, I usually do not change my selection's unless i change the whole line...I watch and try to predict the number that is going to be consistant, if I waited till it got hot, it would turn cold by the time i started playing it....I really just try to keep it simple, for instance if I play numbers 1-14 as my first ball choice I'm still in the game 80% of the time, If I play the numbers 40-52 as my last ball, i'm in the game 81% of the time, so when I pick my lines, I try (but not always) to stay within that parameter. I track the white balls to see what is not neccessarily hot, but more consistant than anything else. That is what I will base my next twenty lines picked this year.....The first set of numbers I picked have some inconsistant numbers attached, but thats because I picked them from the begining and I used numbers that I liked, the second set had some parameters on them and some of them have worked their way to consistantly remain in the top 5 spots for most of the year on my list, the next list will have more parameters and we'll see how they turn out.....it works in reverse also...I've got lines that consistantly remained in the bottom five of my selections all year also.
