With all of those low numbers I'm going to predict that there will be 4 winners.

    Almost forgot the numbers themselves:

    05-07-18-28-35 Powerball: 01

    Powerplay x 3

Less than half of the possible combinations were sold, so it's a 50-50 chance that we'll see a rollover.  (See Powerball Fact Sheet.)

I would like a large roll over because I got one number on 6 different lines.  I think this saturday will be the record breaker!!!!!!!!!

          One of the 5 tickets I bought for this drawing was 17 | 18 | 28 | 35 | 49  + 30, so I got a 3+0!

According to the individual state winners page on powerball.com there are two winners.  One ticket was sold in Pennsylvania, while the other ticket was sold in South Carolina.

Now the Main Page has not confirmed it yet, but if their stat page is correct, there will be no roll over.

Whatever happened to these supper jackpots they promised a year ago.

Actually PB never promised super jackpots. It was MM in their ads that promised jackpots of $350+ Mil and they haven't even been able to crack $200 Mil. PB cracked $200+ Mil twice in 2003.

I don't know about you but I'd call $200+ Mil pretty super.

                smd173,

How did you find out at 11:00 PM on the night of the draw that the Powerball jackpot was set to $221.5 million? I checked the Powerball site and it was not posted there.

                Thanks,

                Jake

                  Jake,

I watched the drawing live. They post the value right before the Power Play multiplier is selected.

I heard that BOTH tickets were sold in a York County (PA, on the Maryland state line, and SC, southwest of Charlotte).
