Considering 2004 is still young, with many enormous jackpots yet to be offered this year... very possibly surpassing anything we've seen lately (remember the number of huge Powerball draws we had last year with 22 drawings of $100 Million or more including several well over $200 Million! ...and that's just Powerball alone!) Yes, I'd certainly tell at any level. I'd truly hope others would also tell if they hit the numbers in any jackpot game! :))

... the lottery never fails to surprise!

        absolutely!

My PB QP was worthless tonight but "my pick" hit $4 ;-)

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

Another question would be would you go public.  I know I would.  There is no way I would have a partnership or an attorney claim it for me.  I think that is a bunch of bull.  Let the people know who beat the odds and give them advise.

I would not go public because then I will be under the watch.

The Government looking at me watching me how and where I spend the money and just the unwanted attention i will get.

                Good point Intel,

who needs "long lost relatives" that could care less about family ties or every profiteer hounding you? I ran into these particulars last year along with sob storys...ad nasium!

Don't advertize what you have won unless the questioneers are willing to double your winnings...and that contract needs to be iron clad!

                  RULE 8:

Get an unlisted phone number, post office box, security system, and advisory team.

Protecting your privacy is of prime importance as your new notoriety catapults you to instant celebrity status. Do not tell anyone you don't have to that you have won anything. Be a dull, boring, and uninteresting media interviewee. Silence will help you achieve your planned goals and, ultimately, do the most good for the most people.

Getting an unlisted phone number, post office box, and home security system is a good first defense. Begin building a team of advisors that can include a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to oversee the activities of a portfolio manager, a tax accountant, an investment advisor/newsletter editor; an estate planning attorney; and an estate planning life insurance agent.

For CFP referrals, call the color=#0000ffInstitute of Certified Financial Planners at 800-282-7526; the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors at 800-366-2732; the color=#0000ffInternational Association for Financial Planning at 800-945-IAFP (4237). For attorneys, refer to the color=#0000ffMartindale-Hubbell directory (also on CD ROM) and search for an estate planning specialist.

Even before you have all the positions filled, act as if you do. When you are inundated with the inevitable offers that barrage new winners, direct the pitch people to: "Send your information to our P. O. Box and if your program has merit, our people will contact you". This screening device takes the pressure off you and helps eliminate the inappropriate or illegitimate and to discover the truly worthwhile. Maybe one out of 100 deals will make sense for you.

I would disappear like a thief in the night, if I craced this and walked away with the jackpot.  Sorry.  :-(  Folks, be honest.  The majority of you on here wouldn't be no where near a computer to even think of sending a note to a bunch of dreamers.  You would be in your accountant's office planning the rest of your life - I know I would be.  Maybe one day, years later, when I just happened to be reminiscing about the good ole poor days, I might crank up the old computer and see if the site even exist anymore.

Note to you all - if I disappear from this site I've either:

                      1.  hit it big

                      or

                      2.  have just grown tired of hearing the chitter chatter of the folks on here.

Sure I would let everyone here know, plus I would mention Lotterypost.com in the press release.

Okay, now I believe you can predict lottery numbers
