pick 3 and pick 4 shouldn't really be played every day... only when you have some sort of indicators come in on the next numbers... I still don't know what those indicators are. I see far too many people in line (usually in front of me) playing 40 and 50 dollars worth of pick 3 and pick 4 numbers... I'm getting out on the cheap with my few $ in powerball tix... I will occasionally play a pick 3 now and again if I am testing some new theory but mostly I stick to "paper" playing on those...
I track every game PA offers in Excel spreadsheets, even though I only put money regularly on the powerball and occasionally the Match6 (and cash5 when rollovers get to 600k... rare!).
the pick 3/4 is a regret-free game... I have already posted a straight prediction in the pick 3 forum and did NOT play it... but I don't play it so it was $500 I didn't regret... if my pick for powerball hit and I didn't play it... yikes!
I cruise ALL of the forums on here looking for useable info, you never know where the inspiration for a new idea/theory/formula is going to come from.
Long term winners in pick 3 are possible, but not enough short term hits to make it profitable immediately... I have already posted a system in pick 3 that would have left you ahead after 26 years of the pa pick 3... but there were gaps of a few years in there that you would lose money... so although I beat the system on paper... it's not a practical play system so I abandoned it... but it can be done.
I put no credence in all-state picks, or expensive rundowns, because the output is too high. I am thinking of trying a one number system on pick 3 (on paper) using methods from my powerball sheets that combine long term frequency with short-term trends... back-testing is and always will be free, and with over 9000 draws, the pa pick 3 is the perfect test bed... Many pick3/pick4 players have put up... Lucky, Cash34ologist, blackapple, emilyg, clipper, winsumloosesum, win D, larry G, Bryan, libra, karamu, JAP69... just to name a few... sorry if I left out any of the other big guns in pick3/pick4.. you know who you are ;-)
I like having each game well represented here, the theories and ideas gleaned from each game help keep the chase interesting...
