I think it's great that someone won from Delaware. Should be interesting to see if they execise their option to remain anonymous.

Back to Mega Millions for me. This is probably the longest stretch of time I've played one multi-state game - I've been playing Powerball on this run since its jackpot was only $14 million, after a $52 million Mega Millions jackpot was won.

Of course, they will remain anonymous. In Delaware , they don't even have to set up a trust to claim the prize. Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings. They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed. And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

People can talk about strategies and gimmicks all they want, but unless your ticket actually matches at least 5 of those 6 balls, you are just another person who tried to win a game yet ultimately failed.

I did get the impression of a spike coming up also... perhaps 3 numbers in the 30's and 2 in the 40's? I went with a more tradiotional spread on the numbers tho, wide range on my pick... if it rolls again, I think I will play more than 1.

I had one number and was off one or two on the others. I was off three on the PB number.
I guess it's back to MM for a while. I will have to update my Chart first though.

Before last nights Powerball drawing I was actually thinking when (well really IF I win, but I am a positive thinker) I win would I form a trust or go the public route (I play in PA, not DE)(after I see the lawyers and financial advisors first)...

I think I would go the public route because I wouldn't mind the publicity and think that would be part of the experience. As a usually quit guy, a little (well ALOT) attention would be "fun". I am single and could pick up and move at a whim. Which I would do anyways if/when I hit the big one.

I also think to myself that I might hold onto the ticket for a while and let the excitemint die down before collecting, that's even before getting the legal and financial advisors in line. But then again, it would be pretty tough just putting it in a safe deposit box and waiting. But it would give me time to think how my "old life" was before the hit.

i think the winner will probably remain anonymous. seeing as how it's deleware, there's a good chance the whole state knows the winner, so the whole state will probably accuse the winner of fathering their kid or something.

I've redone my website. Go to www.dr-ew.com. I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff. Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Ditto for me. Even though I didn't win much, it felt good to be able to buy 100 chances for a $200M plus jackpot. I'm getting ready for the next opportunity, maybe in a month or two.

yep, even though the best I did was a 2+0 for $0 it was a nice drive for ten bucks and a quarter tank of gas! my kid did O.K. as far as driving,,,although I wont let get her license until I see her drive in the snow..
