I have never had a problem with anyone because of their race... I don't feel ill will for the citizens of Mexico, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka or wherever else our good jobs went... they are just pawns, as are we...
And I don't hate rich people as a general rule, but I DO despise those who made their money from the misfortunes of others... C.E.O.s really tick me off... eliminate thousands of U.S. jobs then retire with $6,000 shower curtains and season tickets to national sporting dvents...
grayfox, if you think there is a problem with race, then you are missing out on the class war going on all around you... and right now it is being won by predominantly rich white power hungry males with the assistance and blessing of the government (also run predominantly by rich white power hungry males). It does not make all rich white males evil, not all life-ruining CEOs are white or male... My first machining job was put under by the greed of a Puerto Rican female... Second one was by a rich white CEO from outside the U.S. Third was by a diverse group of rich greedy ******s ...
race is not the problem, gender is not the problem, economic standing is not the problem (I doubt the Shues in S.C. are creating jobs to ship overseas and even Jack Whittaker hired back people he laid off...). Not everyone in the upper class thinks they are better than everyone else... it is the rich on power trips that are responsible for 99% of the problems we deal with on a daily basis... Healthcare, employment, salaries, unfair trade practices... ALL the result of powermad elitists who want to knock the middle class back down (how DARE middle class people have second homes and things formerly reserved for the ultra rich?). This problem transcends race, religion, political affiliation, geography and gender. This is a problem that politics cannot resolve to the satisfaction of the common people...
I have a good Idea of what can be done to start making things right (NOT involving the upcoming elections) But I will save that for the blogs...
sorry camden2004 for momentarily straying off-topic, but regarding your original post... it's simple, if one area of the country shows a predominant trend in the winners, then that is because the players that participate in that game fit that (for lack of a better word) profile. Here's a good example not using race as a selection criteria... player picked jackpot winning numbers vs. Quick Pick jackpot winning numbers...
THere is on average a 70% edge for winning a jackpot with a quickpick versus picking your own number... why? because there is a 70% edge in QP sales versus player picked tickets. there is nothing more to it than that... some things you really can take at face value... it doesn't mean that if I buy a quick pick I have a better chance of winning, it just means that I have matched the profile of a majority of the winners... does that make sense?
