i do not like buying anything online.  there's that and the fact that for all we know, the site may not have even bought the tickets.

Sites like do not buy tickets - they are a private lottery, using the various state results instead of drawing their own numbers.

The betslips.com sites do in fact buy every last ticket.  They have had second- and third-prize winners ($175,000 & $5,000), so if they weren't in fact buying the tickets, I think they'd be in a lot of trouble.

In fact, one of their $5,000 winners posted about their win on Lottery Post.  It was a guy in some dire financial straights, and he won $5,000 playing Powerball at betslips.com the first time he tried.

question. has anyone ever won any major money (as in jackpots) while purchasing their tickets online? if so, how does one claim their prize when they do not have the ticket with them?

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

ok. if someone runs a lottery based on state results, then that is not legal, is it?

The betslips sites hold the ticket for you, and hand you the ticket to claim it yourself if you win the jackpot.  Yes, they have had big winners.  Send me a PM if you need details.

i've heard of several stories in which the lottery sites that run their own lotteries off of state results are being shut down and the operators are being arrested.

i hate asking these kinda questions because i don't wanna put my money into something that might not pay me if i win but also i wonder if i'm not breaking any laws or anything,i guess i might be a lil suspicious of it at first but if it did me good i wouldn't have any problems.......

Hi gang...I've been playing with a week now. I love the idea of sitting at my computer and putting in my numbers. I also love the idea of playing in any state! I sent my money by Western Union, and if I should win a sizable amount, they will FedEx my money to me.

After I'm more comfortable with online money transfer, I plan to open a special checking account especially for paying my lottery bills. Right now, I'd rather go the Wester Union route.

I joined under the $77 Dollar Special...which goes like this - You open your account with $77 and the will match the 77 bucks. Sure enough, they did what they said they would do.

I've called their 800 number several times asking questions, and they were very friendly. I've even contacted them over the Internet and got the same friendly treatment.

All I've got to do now is win some of their big money payout.

                          LottoMike,

There is no daily limit that I am aware of.  They have limits on per ticket bet, usually $25 per ticket (but I doubt anyone does that) and other limits on the games like Blackjack, etc.  Also the limits for the Sportsbook vary.

As far as the large $9000 payout.  They will put it back into the account you used to fund it with if you ask them.  I use PrePaidAtm and the money goes in to that account and I can withdraw it any time and at any ATM in the United States.  It works much the same with other accounts.

As far as "Big Brother" knowing, they DO NOT report any transactions to ANY government.  They are located in Costa Rica.

LottoMike - if I'm lucky enough to win that amount and decided to have them FedEx the check to me, I would deposit it into my bank account.

Like I said, Western Union/FedEx is an option that got me started in a comfortable manner. I will in the very near future get a special account set up for my transactions when I've explored all scenerios and find which one is comfortable for me.

I love it, and you will too.

lottomoke  is based in Costa Rica along with 350 plus online casino's. They have a Canadian phone exchange. So my guess is it is operated in Costa Rica but have an office in Canada also. There are no laws in America that say you can't bet offshore. However if you start placing large quantities of money in your American bank account. It might raise some questions uncle sam wants to know where we get our money from when that happens. Like others have said you can call  and ask any questions you might have about their lottery playing. You will have to make up your mind if you join and want to play as to which method of payment both to them and from them that will satisfy your needs and you are comfortable with. All the information about joining and funding your account is on their website.

Oh and i think wire transfers are expencive to do when they are out of the country. However atm's are all over the world and probably a lot cheaper.
