Let me start out by saying that no offense taken ---Justin for your believe
But as you know, I am a member of a pay forum and prior to this one I was signed up with "Red's Hotsheet"
I think that it all depends on your thinking behind the way numbers fall in the lottery. I feel that you must have an understanding that you have 1000:1 odds that you are going to hit that number straight.
On that note, I think that is is important to have a plan in place in order to decrease those odds, instead of the randomness that some people take in playing. Luck does sometimes bring about the number but often times not.
For me, A more statisical approach is needed for me to play and have a shot a making some sort of profit. Red's Hot sheet has a lot of great numbers there but I needed to understand how the numbers came about. So I went off in search of a reason why.
I found out that the numbers fall randomly (true enough) but also that the numbers have to maintain a sort of balance.
Statistics helped me to see jsut how often the numbers are falling, what numbers fall most with other numbers, which numbers have a smaller chance of falling with each other, etc.
Each and every one here in this forum believes that as well or you would not have these different methods of coming up with "the winning numbers"
Think about it: Most of you don't just go to the lottery store and write down a bunch of numbers without having some reasoning behind it, do you?
There are people that thrive of researching this sort of stuff, so why not pay a small fee for that service: They do put their time into it after all and I feel that on that fact alone, they deserve to put a price on their time.
I've paid 50-150 dollars on computer programs that say they can improve your chances of winning. (also based on some type of stats) and most have proved worthless.
I feel that if it works, why not pay for it.
But I do understand your viewpoint as well, Justin
