Instructions

Lottery Post's Abbreviated Wheel systems take the numbers you input and create abbreviated wheels, which greatly reduce the number of tickets required to play, while still maintaining a prize guarantee.  If you were to play all the tickets that are generated, and if all or some of the lottery numbers drawn fall within your list of numbers, you'll be guaranteed to win the prize specified in the wheel's guarantee.  The abbreviated wheels at Lottery Post are among some of the best available, as many are mathematically minimal and well-balanced.

Below are specific instructions for using the Abbreviated Wheel.  If you need additional assistance, try posting questions to the Lottery Discussion forum, where other Lottery Post members will be more than happy to help.

  • You have chosen to create a 18-number wheel, which requires you to enter 18 different numbers.  If you want to create a wheel with a different amount of numbers, go back to the Pick 5 Wheels page and select a different wheel.

  • The Output Format allows you to change the way the tickets are displayed.  You can choose from three different separators between the numbers (a dash, a commma, and a comma plus a space), and you can choose to have leading zeros or not on 1-digit numbers.

  • The Sort the numbers on each ticket, if checked, will display the numbers on each ticket in order from lowest to highest, regardless of the order that you entered the numbers in the Numbers in the Wheel section.

  • The Include line numbers, if checked, will number each ticket like this: 1., 2., 3., etc.
