Illegal In-Kind Campaigning? Poll Fraud

OK folks.

You know about that nice NBC/WSJ "poll" that shows that Hillary is up 11, right?

Well, CTH deconstructed it.  It wasn't very hard to do, and it showed the usual media bias in the sample, which is a problem standing alone.  But then we get into why the bias existed, and it's not so simple as it first appears.

What CTH managed to find is that the organization that ran the poll is an organization run by a man who currently is a SuperPAC operator for PrioritiesUSA in support of Hillary Clinton, and was involved in a similar one for President Obama.

In other words the so-called "media poll" wasn't actually run by NBC and the WSJ, it was run by a SuperPAC dedicated to Hillary's election.

The reason for the intentional bias in the poll's sample is now obvious -- and ought to have been reason enough for both NBC and the Wall Street Journal to refuse to run it at all.

THAT is outrageous.  But it gets better -- Hillary's campaign paid this organization over $200,000 in September alone!

Is that legal, given that SuperPACs are not supposed to coordinate with a campaign?  Maybe.  It depends on what was bought.

Is it legal for a SuperPAC to run a poll and bias it on purpose?  Sure.  Hell, SuperPACs (and campaigns) run biased messages all the time -- that's what political advertising is!

But SuperPACs, like all other "independent" groups and the campaigns themselves are required by law to disclose who is paying for the communication so that the people have some chance of discerning what is "objective" and what is obviously and intentionally biased for political purposes.  That is why you hear "I'm .... and I approve this message."  Candidates and SuperPACs don't include that because they want to, they include it because it's illegal to put forward said communication without that notice.

A "news" organization that is patently used with their full knowledge and consent to present an electioneering message to the public that originates in this fashion without any disclosure whatsoever quite-arguably violates the law and in addition such advertising (which is exactly what it is when the content is not a "poll" but instead is an engineered communication from a SuperPAC) certainly appears to constitute an in-kind campaign contribution to the campaign that it promotes by the "news" organization in question.

Why do we put up with this crap again and where are the <snip>ed handcuffs?

This came from the Advocate (our local paper) and I am sharing it because it is exactly how most of us feel about Trump. The Media just doesn't get it....they can't believe that people are so angry that they can no longer be manipulated!

"We don't care if the guy swears... or how many times he's been married...or who he voted for, or what his income tax return shows. We want the problems fixed. Yes he's an egomaniac, but we don't care. We know he's not a racist, or bad to women, or all the other things the liberal media is trying to label him with. We know he's raised a good family, and that says a lot about him.

The country is a mess because politicians suck, the Republican Party is two faced & gutless, and illegals are everywhere and Muslims are openly trying to hurt this country and make the civilized world adjust to them. We want it all fixed!

We don't care that Trump is crude, we don't care that he has changed positions, we don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly, Rosie O'Donnell, and so many of the elected establishment. We don't care that Rubio, Ryan, the Bush's, and so many other top old and new Republicans refuse to endorse him for their own selfish reasons, and we know what they are. We don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslim terrorists, we don't care that he tried some businesses that didn't work out.

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegals, we are becoming a nation of victims, where every Tom, Ricardo and Hasid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in, AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED. And TRUMP is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want.

We're sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic and Republican Party. We're angry about the Iran deal, the budget, treatment of Israel, military weakness, lobbyists, special interests, overpaid politicians with their self serving bills and back room deals, trade deals, loss of jobs, manipulated economic numbers, businesses fleeing, and even the phony pay for play Clinton Foundation.

Americans are no longer going to be fooled, and the movement is out to change the direction we're taking. Trump may not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money holding him, he doesn't have political correctness restraining him, and all you know is that he has been very successful, a good negotiator, he has built a lot of things, he's flexible, and he's also not a politician. And he says he'll fix it. And we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.

Public service has become elected greed. This may be our only chance to have a non-politician, despite his flaws, try and correct the mess, at least for 4 years. We must take the shot, because the consequences of putting Hillary Clinton in office are frightening.

There is a tidal wave happening, and its going to overcome much of what's happened to this country."

It should be no surprise that the sexual escapades of LBJ and JFK and Bill Clinton while in office far exceed anything that has yet come to light about Trump.

Gov. Cuomo and Senate Conference Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins spent the past few days hammering Republicans who won't withdraw support for Donald Trump following his "locker room" remarks.

It's "shameful," said Stewart-Cousins, that Republicans would back "a proven misogynist" like Trump. Added the gov: "If you support him, you stand against women. There is no 'but' in this situation."

Funny, but the very same thing could be said about Albany's Democrats � especially Cuomo himself.

For years, the governor and his colleagues stood behind then-Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, turning a blind eye as he orchestrated secret hush-money payments to cover up repeated sexual harassment (and worse) by his staffers and cronies.

In four distinct cases, Silver cut deals to spend hundreds of thousands in taxpayer cash to buy the silence of his colleagues' victims.

No one complained, because crossing the all-powerful Speaker was political suicide.

Cuomo even took to the airwaves to defend one of those hush-money deals, involving victims of Assemblyman Vito Lopez, insisting it "wasn't a secret deal" but rather "an agreement with confidentiality."

After all, he noted, it was signed off on by two other Democrats, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, so nothing was done "outside of the checks and balances of government."

Some defense. Bottom line is the public was never supposed to find out about it � in fact, the victims would be fined $5,000 per act of public disclosure.

As a result, serial violators like Lopez got to go on groping and abusing women.

In fact, one Republican who dared raise the subject on the Assembly floor � during a debate on workplace sexual harassment, to boot � was officially admonished and had his microphone shut off.

Trump's comments have been widely and properly denounced. But Cuomo and his fellow Democrats should drop their sanctimonious cant about "standing against women" and take a long look in the mirror.

Clinton, who approved a deal granting Russia control of 20 percent of America's uranium assets, has criticized rival Donald Trump for allegedly wanting to "support Putin."

In paid remarks to private groups, Clinton boasted of having a personal relationship with Putin, according to excerpts released by the organization Wikileaks this weekend. Democratic operatives, including vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, have neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of the Wikileaks document.

In a speech to the Jewish United Fund Of Metropolitan Chicago in October 2013, the Wikileaks document cites Clinton as telling a story of bonding with Putin over the conservation of tiger populations.

"I said, 'You know, Mr. Prime Minister, we actually have some things in common. We both want to protect wildlife, and I know how committed you are to protecting the tiger,'" Clinton reportedly told the audience. "I mean, all of a sudden, he sat up straight and his eyes got big and he goes, 'You care about the tiger? I said, 'I care about the tiger, I care about the elephant, I care about the rhinoceros, I care about the whale.'"

Then, she said, Putin invited her to what she described as his "private inner sanctum."

Clinton confidant Huma Abedin exchanged these emails with aide Kristina Schake in April 2015. Schake outlines specific conditions that would allow the donors and press at Clinton events to bring cellphones and cameras for the purposes of manipulating public perception of Hillary's favorability.

She wrote:

"Here is a draft policy for input: less than 100 people � NO cellphones, NO press.

Over 100 people, YES cell phones, and ONE print pooler will be escorted in for her remarks only and then escorted out. NO TV cameras.

Over 500 people in a public space � YES cell phones, OPEN press (all press access including TV cameras)."

So a Clinton event with less than 500 people gets virtually no coverage because it would showcase Democrats' lack of enthusiasm for their candidate.

The email continues with Schake telling Abedin that Clinton spokesman Jesse Ferguson has suggested the following for fundraiser guests if under 100 people:

"Since the event is not open to cameras from the media b/c of space, we will be asking you to check your cell phone so images aren't released from the event that were unavailable to the media. We take our relationship with the press seriously and don't want them to be at a disadvantage."

In other words, they tell guests not to sneak out photos of the event because it may fall outside of the lockstep positive coverage by the lapdog media and could contradict their spin.

The "no cell phone" rule may also prevent camera flashes from triggering Hillary into having a seizure.

Meanwhile, the only relationship Republican nominee Donald Trump has with the media is a hostile affair, with media titan Bill O'Reilly saying he's "100% convinced" that at least 3 big media outlets have "ordered their employees to destroy Trump."

"I'm talking about big conglomerates," said O'Reilly on America's Newsroom Monday following the second presidential debate. "News organizations have sent, not officially but through the corporate grapevine, [word] that we don't want anybody supporting Trump. If you study it, you can see which ones they are."

But fear not, the media is totally nonbiased and only wants to present balanced information in a fair and open way � as long as that information elevates Hillary or hurts Trump.

With all of this talk about the Donald Trump video that was released, it would have been best if Hillary Clinton had just stayed out of it. You know, since her husband was (is?) a serial philanderer with several non-consensual sexual encounters under his belt (READ: rape).

But of course, she felt the need to chime in, which angered a lot of people who realize that she is throwing rather large stones from a rather delicate glass house. This was made clear at an Ohio State University rally, when a group of protesters showed up just to remind her of her husband's past (and illegal) indiscretions.

While colleges and Universities are the epicenters of liberal indoctrination, there are some students who have managed to keep a shred of sanity, like Trey Odell, who refuses to vote for Hillary Clinton simply because she's a woman.

Wherever there are controversial politicians, there are sure to be protesters. Hillary is one professional politician that people just love to hate, and the truth is that she just makes it so easy.

Protesters at the OSU rally gathered and carried "Bill Clinton is a Rapist" signs, wore "Hillary For Prison" shirts and waved a flag saying "Come And Take It."

They began a rousing chant of "Bill Clinton Is A Rapist," which you can see below (VIDEO).

"The Chairman of the Hillary for President Campaign admitted in an internal e-mail that Hillary "Has begun to hate everyday Americans." In an email exchange with another campaign bigshot, Jennifer Palmieri, who was the Jennifer Palmieri was a White House communications director for the Obama Administration and is now Hillary Clinton's Campaign Communications Director, Podesta wrote these words on April 19, 2015, prior to the then-pending New Hampshire Primary election.
The email, sent by Podesta begins with the following lines: John Podesta wrote: "I know she has begun to hate everyday Americans, but I think we should use it once the first time she says I'm running for president because you and everyday Americans need a champion. I think if she doesn't say it once, people will notice and say we false started in Iowa."
Her own campaign chairman says she hates us; and he said so all the way back on April 19, 2015, yet he's helping to push this woman for President of the United States? This email calls into question the very sanity of the Clinton Campaign and specifically. its Chairman. Who supports someone for President of the United States knowing the candidate hates everyday Americans? Is this some sort of mental illness? 
These are not small words from a "nobody." These are the words of John Podesta, Chairman of the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign, talking to a fellow staffer via e-mail, which they never thought the public would find out about. This is what the Hillary Campaign people know- and think- behind closed doors. But those doors were hacked into the light of day thanks to computer hackers who gained access to their internal email.
Worse, the staffer with whom Podesta was communication, Jennifer Palmieri, responded to Podesta's assessment with a single word: "Truth." Even Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton's own communications director, knew that Hillary hates everyday Americans! What kind of mental illness would drive people like Podesta and Palmeiri to work toward electing a President they know "Hates everyday Americans?" 
Lately, Hillary has suggested to crowds that they perform an "Intervention" for anyone voting for Donald Trump. An Intervention is a psychiatric term. Perhaps its time for the public to perform an Intervention upon John Podesta and Jennifer Palmieri to free them from whatever mental illness drives them to support a candidate who "hates everyday Americans."

Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile leaked a question to Hillary Clinton's campaign that the candidate was going to be asked at a CNN town hall prior to the event when she was a network contributor, the Daily Caller reported Tuesday.

Brazile, who was the DNC's vice chair under Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.) at the time, was also a contributor to CNN, which hosted the town hall in March 2016 during the Democratic primary while Clinton was still competing against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.).

Brazile emailed the question to Clinton's communications director, Jennifer Palmieri, on March 12. The message was released as part of a trove of hacked documents from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta's email account published by WikiLeaks. The new release came days after the U.S. formally accused the Russian government of hacking into political computers to influence the 2016 election.

"From time to time I get the questions in advance," Brazile wrote Palmieri. "Here's one that worries me about HRC."

"Yes, it is one she gets asked about. Not everyone likes her answer but can share it," Palmieri replied. "Betsaida�can you send her answer on death penalty?"

The question about the death penalty was posed by a former death row inmate, Ricky Jackson, who was wrongly convicted.

As the Daily Caller notes, this email plays into the narrative that DNC officials were weighing the scales against Sanders throughout the primary and that Brazile only replaced Schultz after other leaked emails came out.

The revelation of Brazile's help for Clinton is ironic given the circumstances by which she came to be interim head of the DNC. She took the position in July after DNC emails released by WikiLeaks that month showed that then-chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was highly critical of Clinton's primary opponent, Bernie Sanders.

The email also undercuts Brazile's claim throughout the primaries that she was a neutral commentator regarding Clinton and Sanders.

MSNBC commentator Joy Reid is a piece of work, shouting down, patronizing, interrupting, lecturing, admonishing, and/or cutting off the mic on guests who say things she disapproves of. She is insufferable. (here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here).

This week-end she outdid herself when, in reference to Donald Trump's locker room banter from years ago, she stated the following (while interviewing Jerry Springer of all people):

...never in my life, and I've been following politics since I was a nerdy teenager, did I ever think we'd be talking about groping, forced kissing, vulgarity and the potential president of the United States in the same sentence.

Was she alive in the 1990's? Does she recognize the name Monica Lewinsky? Is there any mental recall of Bill Clinton's countless sexual exploits that ranged from groping to rape and everything in between?

And speaking of in between, does she have any recollection of the famous "waitress sandwich" courtesy of Ted Kennedy and his friend Chris Dodd, as recounted at GQ (among many sickening, drunken, rude, obscene sexual exploits that Kennedy heaped upon victims):

...the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. With Gaviglio on Dodd's lap, Kennedy jumps on top and begins rubbing his genital area against hers, supporting his weight on the arms of the chair....

Hey, Joy. Anything coming back to you yet? What about when the disgusting event noted above was excused as boyish shenanigans?

No? Still nothing?

How about when Senator Bob Packwood resigned after allegedly forcing himself on seventeen women, most of whom were employees?

Joy, listen. You're 48 years old. What about Congressman Charlie Wilson's reputation for hiring only good looking women as staffers, stating "you can teach 'em to type, but you can't teach 'em to grow tits."

No dice? Really? Surely your amnesia can't be so profound that these, and countless more examples of inappropriate-at-best-and-downright-criminal-at-worst behaviors of those in the highest echelon of power escape your memory. (Are you having black outs or is it more like HRC-inspired short-circuiting?)

And as long as we're speaking of power brokers at the top of the food chain, do you recall President Obama (that's our current president, Joy) inviting rappers to the White House who were convicted felons, people accused of kidnapping and assault, and "artists" who promote the murder of white police officers and judges, not to mention references to females that are vulgar, to say the least (here, here, here, here, and here). (Joy, don't read rap lyrics written by any of these guys because, given the effect that Trump's handful of words has had on you, I fear you will be irreparably traumatized.)

If, dear Joy, you lack recall of these things, I would urge you to seek medical attention. Immediately. Until then, please stop serving up your selective faux outrage about Donald Trump's locker room comments. You are a pathetic fool.
