With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy, and all of the Founders. This morning, the liberal press is up in arms at the suggestion that Trump might appoint a special prosecutor to "look into Hillary's situation."

That's a good one.

If your government has an avowed policy of not making payments to terrorists but pays $100 million per hostage to the largest terrorist organization in the world
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If your Treasury Department and Central Bank are simply printing money in order to prop up the regime
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If your balance sheet has more debt than all of the rest of the world combined

    If your courts are telling you that the plain wording of your own Constitution means exactly the opposite of its English and historical meaning
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If your law enforcement officers and election officials permit widespread vote fraud, voting by non-citizens and dead people, and oppose every means of enforcing fair elections

    If your military's flag officers are more interested in putting fancy ribbons on their chests than they are about its capacity to fight being destroyed

    If your country's space agency is more concerned with "Muslim Outreach" and climatic interpretation than they are with actually exploring space

    If your major media ignore all the scandals and illegal activities of the ruling party

    If your president is more interested in inciting racial violence than he is in enforcing the law

    If half of your citizens believe that a lifetime history of sexual assault is less serious than vulgar talk
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If one of your major political parties can't bring itself to remove a leader who has suborned perjury, lied under oath, and tried to fix a federal judge
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If all of the major political parties are more interested in satisfying the demands of their wealthy contributors than they are in the people who actually vote
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If your Secretary of State can plunder her office to the tune of nearly a quarter of a billion dollars (!) to advance her personal fortune while standing in front of the entire nation, bragging straight-faced about her "life of service"
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If the head of your Department of Justice secretly meets with the man who started her career while her employees are supposedly investigating his wife, and she is not -- at the very least -- disbarred for this outrageous ethical violation
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.
    If the head of your Secret Police and his family have past and present financial connections with the subject of his investigation, and grants immunity to all of her co-conspirators without any evidentiary result, and then whines about being called the dirty cop that he is
    ... you may be living in a banana republic.

So the liberal outrage over Trump's plans to appoint a special prosecutor is -- like most liberal outrage -- very amusing to rational thinkers because our cruise ship to Banana Republic sailed a long time ago.

The real reason for the shock in the progressive media today reflects two things: the desire to blunt the absolute destruction of Hillary Clinton in last evening's debacle.

Liberals were giddy with the thought that Trump would slither off the stage as so many Republicans before him have done, and instead had to watch in horror as their hypocrite rapist-enabler candidate got the thorough whipping she's deserved her entire "public life."

And second, and far more importantly, they know full well that an investigation conducted by an impartial law enforcement agency and concluded by a legitimate trier-of-fact, rather than by a corrupt administration and its snivelling "Justice Department," would be the end of the Clinton Global Crime Family.

Everyone knows this, even the liberals. Hence their sanctimonious posturing this morning.

In a newly leaked message, posted this morning by WikiLeaks, John Podesta admits that Hillary has a problem telling the truth. Or, as he puts it: "she says things that are untrue, which candidly she does often."

Donald Trump made a historic move last night. For the first time in the history of politics, a Republican man had the guts to come out and really defend the women abused by Bill Clinton. There they were, front and center, with their defender, Donald Trump.

It was as if to say, "See, this is what he did, and I'm <snip> mad about it. If you don't know about it, (Millennials), here they are. This stuff really happened." It was as if the alpha male was there protecting his pride.

Trump is a man. Real men like and love women. Real men also have an innate protective streak when it comes to the abuse of women. Lesser men, not so much.

It did my heart good to see this last night. I hope the women of America see Donald Trump as basically a good man who will fight like hell for the women of America. Not the feminazi stuff, not the PC crap, not the 'safe spaces' shtick,. . no, the real stuff.

The purpose of the debate last night was to destroy Donald Trump. He punked them with the brilliant pre-debate presentation of just a few of the women abused by Bill Clinton. The timing of this flustered Hillary and was a brilliant move.

Remember, this election is about all the marbles. The multi-trillion dollar beltway syndicate will do anything to destroy the Republican nominee. Remember Romney's tax returns, binders and the dog on the roof? Well, they're just getting started with Trump.

Trump is a flawed fighter of a man. The type of real man that made this country great. He should give no quarter from now until November 8. Everything is fair game. The dems in various ways have said they're scared to death of us hammering on Bill Clinton's escapades. Trump, the protector of women vs. dems, the amoral users and abusers of women.

Morality and ethics are still relevant in these United States. It's what started America and will sustain it, if we so choose.

Donald Trump's gutter talk about women shows yet again that he is bad news. The problem is that Hillary Clinton is far worse.

Trump's talk is indefensible. But Hillary Clinton's actions as Secretary of State, carrying out the Obama administration's foreign policies, have cost many lives in many places, including the American ambassador and others killed in Benghazi.

Women have a right to be offended by Trump's words. But women have suffered a far worse fate from Secretary Clinton's and President Obama's actions. Pulling American troops out of Iraq, despite military advice to the contrary, led to the sudden rise of ISIS and their seizing of many women and young girls as sex slaves.

A message from one of these women urged the bombing of ISIS. She said she would rather be dead than live the life of a sex slave. Some women who tried to commit suicide and failed have been tortured for trying.

Meanwhile, President Obama tried to downplay ISIS with flippant words, by calling them the junior varsity. His half-hearted, foot-dragging military response has allowed ISIS to parade before the world as triumphant conquerors, appealing to disgruntled people in Western countries to carry out terrorist attacks in support of their cause.

That is a lot worse than some stupid and gross words by Donald Trump, which even he has had to repudiate. Make no mistake about it. Neither party has a good candidate for President. The choice is between bad and disastrous.

My Response:   Dear Mrs. Clinton � You clearly don't know me and are NOT fighting for me. The things Donald Trump has done to women are no worse than those your husband has done. Worse YOU have slut shamed and denigrated those women because they were naive or simply fell for the seduction of power and authority of President William Clinton. I am so sorry that you can't see that promising us that "Bill" will be helping you in the White House and that you are going "to put him to work" is terrifying for me as a woman.
President Clinton did enough damage to our country with his behavior � it is because we democrats looked the other way about his behavior that men like Trump can even run for office without being shamed for their words and their attitudes.
You are not the candidate for me. Had I a choice I would vote NONE OF THE ABOVE, however I don't have that choice. What I do have Mrs. Clinton is the right to vote third party � which I will do. I am 60 year old woman and life-long liberal democrat who has stood by for decades and watched what the corruption of the DNC has done to MY party.
The decades of Democratic policy � the removal of debates from the Women's League of Voters, NAFTA, DOMA and to laws tightening prison sentences and "bringing young predators to heel" makes me ashamed to have been a democrat. I watched as we OUR party inflicted welfare reform on the people, not to mention the 15 years of war this country has endured and YOUR votes to continue the Patriot Act. And yet I blindly believed it would get better and supported President Obama.
Those days are over Mrs. Clinton, I will no longer vote the "party ticket" and consider myself an ex-Democrat. There are no words you can speak that will turn me back to the party, nothing that could bring me to vote for you and in fact I speak loudly and post frequently trying to encourage others to be brave and vote third-party and not for either YOU or Trump.
I have never BEEN WITH YOU and assume you have my name from one of the lists of Democratic candidates I have donated to in the past. I have cancelled my relationship with ANY organization that has contacted me to ask for more money IF THEY STAND WITH YOU.
