HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS!

An earthquake happened here in Idaho this morning. It shock my house pretty good. My mom, sister and I got up and went to the living room and we're all like, "You felt that right." lol. Apparently, there has been a bunch in the last 24 hours. Indonesia, Greece, Norway, and a bunch of parts in the US.

Did anyone watch the lunar eclipse tonight? I did! It will be the last lunar eclipse till 2010.

I was checking my gums earlier because I am still feeling some slight pain and I notice that I can see some of my jaw bone. I am not having serious pain, just a dull, annoying sort of pain after I eat or drink something. I do notice that after I do a warm, salt water flush the pain goes away. I don't have another appointment until March 4th, but I think I may go in early if the gums don't start to cover that area soon.

I was wondering could I have or is there a chance that I might get dry-socket? Does anyone here have experience with that? Or do I need to just relax and let it heal? (It's been 8/9 days) I have been searching and reading up on dry-socket and people who have it seem to be in extreme pain and that isn't me, so I think I am just being paranoid. The whole thing is kind of annoying. I mean, I had four wisdom teeth removed and it wasn't like this. I think I will give it another week and if it isn't better, I will go in and have it checked out or something.

I went and had my stitches taken out and I still have a slight infection of some sort. I am suppose to finish the antibiotics that the dentist has given me and do a warm water salt rinse 3 or 4 times a day. If I still feel pain in that area after another week or so I am to contact him. I also have another appointment to get some more work done around my tooth that I had the root canal on, but that isn't until March 4th. The place I am going to has so many wonderful and nice people working there. No one has been snotty or mean to me, not once. This is the first time that I have ever experienced this kind of care from the dental profession. Usually, I get dentist and assistance her have been rude to me or treated me badly. Not this place I really love it and it makes going to the dentist so much easier. Hope everyone is doing well!

Yesterday I went to my first of many dentist appointments and had some of my teeth fixed. I had a root canal, teeth cleaning and one of my back teeth basically ripped out. It pretty much suc*s. lol. The tooth that I had root canal on doesn't hurt anymore, but the tooth that they ripped out with a chisel and pliers continues to hurt. Thank God for Vicodin. Apparently, the roots of my back tooth were healthy but the tooth above wasn't so it came of in bits and pieces and they had to dig around to get the roots out which didn't want to come out. There is now a big whole in the back of my mouth. I also have to take antibiotics every 4 hours. I forgot the name, but it's some kind that is given to people allergic to penicillin. Anyways, I will probably end up back in bed even though it's only eleven-something. I so don't feel well. Hope everyone else is doing well.

This morning I woke up to find it snowing outside. It is very beautiful. I hope it doesn't snow too much though. I don't want to get stuck.

Also, I do enjoy this forum, but why do certain individuals like to twist others peoples posts to suit their needs? Today I answered someones question about what they would buy if they won a jackpot and someone decided to take my comment waaayyyy out of context and accuse me of not letting others have fun. WTF? I didn't even talk about anyone else. I only talked about what I would buy. I think if a certain someone does that too me again, I may just use the block feature. I have no need for someone to try and purposely start drama where there isn't any.
