That number has been haunting me since last Oct.  I have been playing it daily since then and finally it comes out on my birthday.  Got a hit of $830... here comes the but part..... I've been playing $2 st and 50/50 everyday, twice a day,  I even played it mid-day yesterday.  Then, last night I got a brain freeze and only played $1 st and 50/50.  Plus I played it as 681 50/50 so that's a $40 box.  I'm happy for the win but knowing it should have been more.  That number was wayyyyy over due, had not played since January 26, 2009,  Look for it to come back possibly as 681 or 186.

      Zoie Naskyla

My first grandchild was born on 1-18-2010 her name is Zoie Naskyla.  After raising 2 sons I am excited to have a little girl around.  She is so precious and sweet.  She's already spent the weekend with me several times, anytime they need a break, granny is willing.  We entered he in a local radio station contest for cutest baby and she made it thru to the top 100 out of 1200 submissions.  But, didn't make to the top 50 but she's still the cutest baby to me.  The link is the photo we submitted for the contest.  she is at 4 mos. old.

Yesterday, my younger brother passed away from a massive heart attack, he was 49yrs. old.  He had been fighting w/ workman's comp over a back injury for the past 3 years.  He finally got his surgery two weeks ago and seemed to be on the road to recovery.  Now, he's gone...he is the one who gave me the moniker "onenumber", it was always a joke between us that I'm always one number off the winning number.  I'm going to miss him deeply, i'm still in shock and disbelief.

I hate Firewalls!  My office installed firewalls in May and then disabled for some reason, well now they're back.  So, I'm not able to log onto LP because it's blocked for gambling.  I'm going to miss being able to log in throughout the day. 

Well, on Monday I came in to work and the tech guy had installed a new system on everyone's computer.  We now have a sonic wall that won't allow me to access Lottery Post.  It says it's blocked because of "gambling".  I can't even access individual state lottery websites.  Fortunately, I can still access the IL Lottery website and that's good because I can at least see if I won.  I guess it must block by category because I can't get sites like amazon or ebay because it blocked as "shopping".  Which I really don't care about those sites but boy do I miss being on LP.  I have to wait until I get home to get on. 

Well, I spent this weekend in Ames, Iowa attending my oldest son's graduation from Iowa State University.  He graduated with two degrees one in Business Management and one in Marketing.  I have been too excited since leaving on Friday.  I put several numbers in before I left because I wouldn't have access to a computer, wasn't it nice to come home and find out that I hit in GA yesterday.  $187.50 for quarter box on 1808!!!  What a wonderful weekend it has been!!!!!!

I started an experiment yesterday.  I'm only posting pick 4 selections for GA, KY, IL/IA, SC, TN for 5 days.  I'm trying to see how the vtrac method will work in those states.  I know that these states tend to mirror each other.  Of course, before the experiment started, I got at least 3 straight hits on paper.  We will see how this works now.  Yesterday, was a bust, no hits at all.

I've been focusing more on the pick four and it's just as bad as pick 3.  I'm trying to use the Vtrac method for picking my numbers.  It does seem to get me closer than without it.  Last week I had numbers written down to play and as usual decided to go cheap and only play a few.  Well of course one of the numbers I didn't play came in straight.  I'm trying to focus on IL and KY evening only, because it seems as though KY evening is patterning itself after IL eve.  So, I'm rushed to play KY after IL comes out.  I'm spending way too much and getting nothing in return.  Either I'm going to hit soon or quit soon!!

I am going to start focusing on pick 4, that's where the money is of course.  But, what I noticed is, that I have to put my efforts on one or the other, I can not do both.

Well, I finally got a hit tonight.  I was feeling pretty depressed, hadn't gotten a hit since the 512.  But I got tonight's 985 50/50.  So, I feel a little better.  Here comes the woulda, coulda, shoulda part... if I only had more money on it!!!!!

I hate when I miss a number that I have been playing for a while.  I missed both the pick 3 and pick 4 tonight.  I was out all day enjoying the weather, came in about 8:00, didn't have time to study too much so I just picked a few that I played yesterday and played those.  I played 798 yesterday Midday and didn't play it tonight.  The last time I played 9687 was on Thursday so I don't feel as bad but still I get angry when I have the number and play for a few days and then get off it and it comes out.  I should be winning more frequently than I do.  I missed three straight pick 3 numbers last week, 4 including tonight.  Maybe I'll post my numbers here so I can remember what to play.
