Vancouver can't be that far away. I had to drive to Ranier, Oregon to get powerball tickets and that was from Seattle.

It cost me $ 8 to drive across the border to Maryland from Northern Virginia.  If I drove a large pickup, it would probably cost me $ 12 to $ 15 for the 60-mile round trip.  I can't see blowing nearly $ 20 for just 5 tickets.  With the expanded matrix, it takes nearly $ 30 of tickets to have the same odds that it took $ 20 before California joined.  Talk about inflation.

If it was going to cost you $20 for 5 Tickets, you might as well purchase Tickets online for the same cost.

You'd wind up saving the travel time.

It cost me about $10 to drive round trip from my home to GA to play.  If gas keeps going up I may have to forgo my MM but since the local gas station is just a mile from home I can still play PB.

I think on my way back to Mobile I'll stop off in GA to buy a Multi Draw.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

The reason I play less than I used to is that the odds are so much longer.

The odds have always been bad. Even one in 80 million is terrible odds when you think about it.

I'm just waiting to see who would be the winner of this big Jackpot. I'm tracking results through  http://www.lotteryuniverse.com/pastmegamillion.aspx

                  Thanks.

It's going to cut into my trips into Maryland where I'd usually play their  6-ball game which has about the same payouts as Lotto South but at half the odds.
