He needs to buy tickets for both the next MM and PB drawings, he would have a VERY high chance of winning both jackpots.

ChairI disagree. The scratch-ifs present better odds of winning compared to jackpot games. With scratch-ifs, it really is a case of "being in the right place at the right time" AND "buying the right ticket" whereas winning jackpot games is about having those few matching 6 numbers, which is a much taller proposition.  I imagine those lottery pools that term themselves "lucky" when they win second or third tier prize perhaps feel like they are a shoe-in to win soon, and I have yet to see that happen. Why I think I have just as good a chance to win both jackpots this week than anyone else. If I do, my news conference will bmo worth watching. Just good luck trying to catch to me if you want to try to hit me up for some cash. Catholic Charities are finding that out the hard way!

But congrats to him and I hope he is taking chance to do what he loves.

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

Melvyn Wilson might be running out of room for all the big Virginia Lottery ceremonial checks he's received.  Back in 2005 he won prizes of $1 million and $500,000 in Virginia Lottery Scratcher games.  In 2004 he won a $25,000 prize.

Now the Woodbridge man has done it again.

He scratched to win $500,000 in the Virginia Lottery's Millionaire Mania game.  He bought the winning ticket at Handy Dandy Market, 13316 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge.

"I'm just in the right place at the right time," is how he explains his amazing lottery luck.

The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

In Millionaire Mania, $500,000 is actually the second prize.  The game's top prize is $2 million.

Mr. Wilson is the game's third $500,000 winner, which means three half-million-dollar tickets remain unclaimed.  Two $2 million tickets remain unclaimed.

Mr. Wilson retired from the postal service in 2007.  What does he do with all those winnings?

"I invest in Melvyn," he said with a laugh.

Thanks to jackpotismine for the tip.

congrat's to Mr Wilson, to be at the right place 4 times. I'll bet this man know the meaning of enjoying retirement.Party
