Reverse Racist much?

So I try to inject a little diversity with my script, giving parts to minority characters, and you cry racism? I suppose if I'd used John and Jim as characters, a coupla WHITE BOY names, then you'd be OK with it? I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that in this day and age, there is still such intolerance in the world.

And for the last time, please stop polluting this MM news thread with off-topic discussion, which YOU started by the way, by ridiculing LP members out of the blue for questioning the fairness of clerks playing scratch games.

Enough...stop, for the sake of LP!

Over reactions I guess are the norm with you.
I think LP will survive any thread detours.  In a mere few hours the new thread will appear about the MM rollover/win.
I am perfectly free to comment on anything posted.
The lottery seems to encourage us to play, hell they gave rolls of scratchers to our whole chain.

The same here. I'll jump into MM when it gets over $500 million or so. I've been playing only my state games here in Maryland and don't miss play PB or MM.

Speaking of state lotto games, I haven't anything in The Pick (Arizona), which prides itself as being Arizona's "original" lotto game, since June of last year. In contrast, I have won the PB and MM several times, including successfully matching the MM golden no. 3 today as well as the same golden number exactly a week ago!!!

How much are you spending on the Megaplier? You will increase your chances of winning by spending $50 weekly on the Megaplier. Smart lottery players do that. Do you?

I kinda thought of purchasing the Megaplier option when it started with the Powerball in 2001. However, I decided against it and since then I have been purchasing separate combinations with first the Powerball (that is before its price went up to $2 per game) and now I play multiple combinationj with the Megamillions.

Do you have to play the lottery everyday in order to dream of winning a significant prize someday? No, I do not have money to burn everyday. Good Luck.

Yes, I play the Fantasy 5 which is a daily lotto game between Saturday and Friday, before repeating the scenario the following Saturday. I strongly believe that one day I will win the second prize in this game which is $500 and $1000 (if you are lucky to have won the doubler ticket), and who knows the enchelada itself, the Jackpot.

Laugh all you want, I haven't bought a single MM ticket since the new matrix. I will if it rolls a few more times, but so far, haven't felt the lotto fever yet.

Incidentally, I have won three times at the Mega since the new Matrix was introduced. Fingers Crossed!!!

If nobody doesn't win to night. A Mega Million frenzy will begin.Lurking

An annuity increase of $33 million? Sounds like the people in charge aren't expecting a frenzy quite yet. If it rolls again (and it probably will), maybe we'll at least see a decent jump since they'll be advertising a jackpot that starts with a 3.

No predicting here LOL I see all the MM/PB annuity and cash jackpots, along with estimated sales in advance. MUSL (which runs both PB and MM) distributes official estimation documents to their member lotteries, usually late morning or early afternoon of the draw.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

I think this is a very good comment.

                        Very good?

                        I thought it was excellent!

You'd get half of that 15 million.  The cash jackpot has to be at least 200 million or more before I jump in,  or else it ain't worth dealing with the idiot media.

                          Ok, let me reiterate then...

I'd be just as happy to win half of $15 million as I would be to win half of $200 million.

Loosen up, it's only a buck or two.

And if the media is that big of a concern, just give me the winning ticket and I'll deal with them.

Hehe well my "crystal ball" says that the current jackpot may increase to $297 million ($158.9 mill cash....although actual support is lower) due to higher than expected sales and increased annuity factor, and the rollover will be $344 million ($184 mill cash). Wink
