The lottery was created by the government to generate money not to give money. Lottery pays back  $50,000 in prizes to lottery players for every $100,000 it collects from sales.

So NOW it "was created by the government",  case closed,  think thriftily before replying.  And to generate money for who or what.......... ?????????

LOL

I do think some people play for 5 seconds of entertainment and I enjoy picking my numbers. But I would prefer my time be spent picking my numbers, not trying to understand the rules. This game had too many contingencies. It is like the new pick 5 VA game (money ball) that costs $2.  You are paying for a chance to win $100,000 unless they draw some extra million dollar ball. You might as well play cash 5 for $1.

Monopoly Millionaires' Club lottery game gives 1 second of entertainment for $5. Are you playing? I am donating $10 for the last drawings. Wish me some LUCK.LOL

I'm sorry, but what did they expect?

        1. If the majority of people were really clamoring for smaller jackpots, state lotteries wouldn't have such a hard time competing with multistate games. But a relatively small percentage of lottery players made a lot of noise for a long period of time and...Viola! The squeaky wheel got the grease.
        2. They made it $5 per ticket. That just alienated a lot of the casual players. Who thought it would be a good idea to make a game with a smaller jackpot WAY more expensive than its rivals?
        3. Simplicity rules. You can't make a lottery difficult to understand and play. D'uh.

This game could have stood a chance had they gone for a cheaper ticket price and a simpler format. It ain't rocket science.

You have to use time travel to beat MMC.

Almost everything (99.9%) done by govt. bureaucrats is typically a pile of sh1t,  this pile of excrement was no different,  I told you this game was a rip off and would not be supported.

Baddabing,  buh bye Monopoly! See ya!!!!!!!  Glad I didn't spend a dime on ya!!!!!!!!

They had no choice,  they couldn't fund the prizes..........unrealistic participation estimates,  this pig could not float,  it was funded from direct participation, no one plays,  no prize pool.  The game is different from the  ACA,  in that the ACA can steal, print, fund money from the tax payers that aren't in it,  if the ACA had to fund itself it would have been over a long time ago.........................

Time. It was just a matter of time,  a very short time.

OK,  I didn't see the sarcasm,  but obviously no sarcasm here,  the govts. are out solely for themselves and are not FOR THE PEOPLE anymore.  Public service is no more,  it is...................... SELF SERVICE.

The people that were on the committee that designed this game should all be fired.  The end result was almost as sure as death and taxes.

They would have been fired, if the lottery was ran by the private sector instead of the government.

Other lotteries have successfully motivated players to play consistently even when jackpots are low by including the raffle feature that MMC has. The MMC raffle is complicated somewhat. If MMC guaranteed one ticket will win $1M every drawing regardless of whether there is a top prize winner or not, then maybe they stand a chance to save this doomed game.

UK has the raffle feature in its Euro Millions and in every drawing, someone wins £1M. That would be enough motivation for me to play consistently if I lived over there. Neither MM nor PB guarantees there will be $1M in every draw. I've seen MM go for 4 draws in a raw without a $1M winner

                    That money's gone fo ever

OK  HERE   IS  MY  SOLUTION  FOR  THE  MONOPOLY  MILLIONAIRE  CLUB

The biggest problem with the monopoly millionaires club is the name . The name has to be changed from the monopoly millionaires club to the   "new monopoly Billionaires club"  . So why does this matter well no big lottery game survives without a big jackpot like my name joeBiglotto so this game is good at $5 per ticket but the jackpot is not good for a lottery buying frenzy. So the maximum jackpot of this game has to be changed from the current cap of $25,000,000 to a new cap of $1,000,000,000 yes you heard me right a new cap of one billion dollars to be called the new "billionaires club " . With this new upgrade players do not have to wait for a jackpot winner to get paid one million dollars. twenty percent of any available jackpot automatically gets paid out to the one million dollar winners. So if the jackpot is $100,000,000

then 20 millionaires will be created  if jackpot is one billion then 200 millionaires will be created all based on jackpot availability so no money no pay big money big pay. To help this game achieve one billion dollar jackpot the odds of winning the jackpot will be higher than powerball and megamillions combined so you are looking at one in 400,000.   In three months with no jackpot winner you may have your first one billion dollar jackpot and a new lottery buying frenzy and everybody happy. with no jackpot winner at least five to ten millionaires selected and with a  billion dollar jackpot winner 200 millionaires selected. this will make everybody happy more millionaires in the largest scale possible and one billionaire every two or three months. So i hope the executives at the monopoly millionaire club decision making department are reading my Review of their failing game and seriously consider my fix option because am JoeBiglotto go Big or go home.BananaBananaBananaBananaBanana

You're not going to sell ice water to an Eskimo in the winter time no matter how you package it, that's what selling those Monopoly tickets for $5 was like.

That's why I never played, $5 for a ticket is too much in my opinion.

You are a lottery player who was not a fan of this game. I can't blame you, I was beginning to like MMC though.

The game would be better with more chances to actually win a $1 million. With only one drawing out of 8 where players won $1 million and the states still lost money, makes one wonder what if there were more more winners.
