North Carolina Lottery should follow the Massachusetts Lottery's example and offer it's subscription service across the country. It would raise additional revenue for education.

I agree with you on that being a Mass. subscription holder X 4 games; however you may be unaware that NC is lucky to have a lottery @ all.  The conservatives lost the case against the lottery, so they will fight tooth and nail against any proposed changes.  Remember that fool in 2015 who wanted to eliminate the Texas lottery?  It never ends in this country.  I am going to research lotto in your home country since this spiked my interest.

Wikpedia says Australia has their own Powerball game.  Is this so?  Too bad our Powerball couldn't be international, then again with the time zones it would have strange cut off times perhaps a day earlier?  OZ lotto too, how cool is that???  Can Americans buy subscription tickets like Massachusetts does?  I'd buy one for sure.

        FYI : I am FEMALE - It's "Ms." - never married !!!

        Ms. DestinyCreation,

I truly apologize for that. I usually address other members in this forum as "Mr./Ms.".  Why I chose not to, that time, is beyond me.

        Mr. Groppo

        • Don't chase the numbers you play.
        • Play only numbers you've already played, plus however many random picks.
        • But, ALWAYS the regular numbers you play.  This will make you a winner, not a chaser.
(so far, though, I've yet to win any significant lotto prize)

          Mr./Ms. BlueDog101,

So, if I understand correctly, I can subscribe to Mass. L4L, even though I liver further down the coast, in
another state, in which I totally hate to live.

If that's the case, I shall subscribe, as well.

          Thanks for the tip.

            No,

You can only play Megabucks Doubler subscription over the phone due to an antiquated 1961 Federal law.

I was there home in July so I was able to play Mega Millions, L4L, and Megabucks Doubler.  I had my Brother get my Powerball ticket on the next sale since he lives there.

If you know anyone in Mass. have them get the subscription for you like I do, the state lottery does not care and will send you your confirmation to wherever you might reside.  Last year they had a summer sale, so was able to get seven weeks worth free; likewise for the winter sale for Powerball.  The only drawback is you can't do Megaplier or Powerplay.

So do yourself a favor and check out their website for Season tickets and the dates for the big discount.  I'll be checking for a summer sale again when the first three expire.

People would win more in video games than NC scratch offs or 3 and 4 picks, NC is not fair in their lottery.
