If the House doesn't approve this Bill, Find out who voted it down, and VOTE them out...!

This is just an idea, but a way to put some sprinkles on top (if this all passes and gets approved etc.), and maybe draw in some people from other states (GA, FL, TN, etc.) would be to have AL join the ranks of DE, KS, ND, SC and OH (the anonymous claim states). I would drive 10 min for that!

I Agree! MD-  these politicians better not give a thumbs down vote because of their religious affiliation by saying their " conscience" would not allow them to move this bill forward.

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it- George Bernard Shaw.

I remember when N.C. didn't have a lottery. we were one of the last states to get involved.
N.C. lost 100's of millions of dollars every year to Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee.
players would simply drive across the borders and spend thier money somewhere else. even fill up thier gas tanks in Georgia where the gas is cheaper.
If that doesn't motivate the Alabama Senate to swing pro lottery, I don't know what will.
