Missouri Lottery players: check your pockets, your car, your drawers, and track down all your old lottery tickets. You could be a millionaire and not even know it!
A $3.5 million Lotto ticket was sold at the Fuel Mart on Highway 19 in the Missouri River town of Hermann on November 12 and has still not been claimed. Because Missouri Lottery winners have 180 days to claim their prize, the winning ticket expires May 11.
The winning ticket has the number combination of 10, 17, 26, 28, 36, and 43.
Missouri Lottery says the state currently has more than $5.3 million in prizes of $50,000 or more that have yet to be claimed. Besides the $3.5 million ticket, two other large unclaimed prizes are set to expire next month.
- Expiring May 15: A $100,000 Powerball ticket from the November 16 drawing, sold at the Rhodes 101 Stop in Perryville.
- Expiring May 25: A $50,000 Powerball ticket from the November 26 drawing, sold at the Schnucks on Lindell in St. Louis.

Be a Responsible Lottery Player: Check You Tickets After the Drawing!
Never can understand that behavior. But then again it could have been in that pants that went through the washer awhile ago.Oh the horror.
Some players have the thought, "No one is going to win especially me" so they do not care for their ticket.
Then there are the accidents of losing the ticket. It may get mixed up with the other trash that gets thrown out.
I am reminded of the story of Martin and Kay Tott from England. They played the same numbers repeatedly. When the night of the draw came, Saturday night. That show was the only one which they missed. Six months later they were watching the Saturday night lottery draw and the host displayed the winning numbers that they played back then. To cut to the chase, their marriage ended, Martin almost went crazy.

That is a tragedy. I don't know how I'd react. I'm sure I'd go nuts too.
So, I keep any tickets I purchase, in one of those vynyl envelopes they give out,
if the clerk has them. Since I've had mine for many many months, it's been tattered, and tickets will fall out, if I'm not careful.
So, what I do now, is put that vynyl envelope with my all my tickets in a
gallon-sized ziplock baggy, and I keep my baggies in one of a few places.
You can get new baggies at any "Dollar Tree" store.
Here's another tip:
If I need to work on my car, those same baggies are ideal "tool boxes". Say you routinely have to take out your air filter box, which requires a 5mm socket and a small socket wrench. Well, keep those tools one of the baggies. You'll know where it is. If you need the wrench for something else, there it is (just put it back when your done). It just keeps you from having to pack a big bulky/heavy tool box, in your trunk, when you know you only need this or that tool. You say you have a newer car? Well, if you carry an ice scraper, throw that in one of the gallon sized baggies, where soon you'll end up stashing other odd things: a roll of electrical tape, pliers, feeler gauges, etc.
I have a ton of tools at home, but I need a couple tools, in the trunk. I need to keep a few 'you never know' sort of tools handy. I open my trunk and pull out about 4 baggies filled with different tools for jobs.
Missouri borders a lot of states, could have been someone passing through.
The OP mentions Perryville, an interstate runs right next to it. There's a convenience store / gas station and Mc Donald's and that store sells one heck of a lot of tickets.
Also, Perryville got hit by a tornado recently.
Groppo, You keep your baggies with the tickets in one of a few places?
I keep my tickets in one place. I think about them once in awhile and say to myself, "No one has bothered them." "Why would anyone bother them on the night of my win?" "No one knows that I have winning tickets"
I hate to say it but maybe the winner passed away after buying the ticket. I can't imagine someone not checking the numbers when the drawing is just a few days away.

I do the exact same thing I have always kept them In 1 spot right where I know they are, check them the morning after draw, put them In a box right next to me when that spot Is full of old Lotto Ticket's I check them again then put them In a bag and on the other shelf. I have always kept my non winning tickets so when I WIN I can take them off my taxes!
I don't want to ever miss a Winning Lottery Ticket! I'll gladly take the $3.5Mill missing lottery ticket and share!
That Music is exactly what l said the other week. I would Keep my winning ticket/ tickets in a book on the shelf, but folks laughed at me. One place, one book. As l said back then, thieves do not break in to steal books. I continue to believe!
I keep mine in a ratty old letter size envelope on my coffee table. After a draw or the next morning, I check my state website which will name the places where winning tickets were sold in the state. If I dont see mine, I know I'm not a jillionaire - sob. Lately after a draw, I've started checking the power/mega ball since those are the only numbers I get these days.
When I bought tickets this am, my change was $13.13. The seller said this was a very lucky sign. From his lips to God's ears...
Just make sure you don't capsize that hot coffee on your winning ticket......
My ticket seller was right! I bought some PB tickets and he said that my change was $13.13 and it was a lucky sign. PB number was 13 and I had two lines with a 13 PB making me $6 richer.
