It was 4's all around

Virginia Lottery players broke the bank last week after the Pick 4 combination 4-4-4-4 was drawn, rewarding winners with a $7.9 million cumulative payday.
June 3, 2025 was a field day for Virginia Pick 4 lottery players, who raked in $7.9 million in total winnings when the night drawing produced the results 4-4-4-4.
Matching all Pick 4 winning numbers in exact order with a $1 wager will yield a $5,000 top prize.
Players wagered a total of $438,939 in the drawing and broke the bank with $7.9 million in total winnings. As a result, the Lottery paid out 18 times the sales it brought in for the single drawing.
Number combinations with the same four digits are often called "quads" and are a popular choice among lottery players, which is why the prize payout is so large.
The odds of matching all four numbers in a Pick 4 drawing are 1 in 10,000. Players can view a complete list of odds and prize payouts for Pick 4 by visiting the Prizes and Odds page.
Pick 4 drawings take place twice a day, once at 1:59 p.m. Eastern Time and again at 11:00 pm Eastern Time. Players may choose their own four numbers or select the Quick Pick (Easy Pick) option to allow the computer to choose numbers for you.
All winning numbers, prizes, and odds are published on Lottery Post's Virginia Lottery Results page right after each drawing.

Nice
I'm pretty sure their triple 4-4-4 paid out a pretty penny as well. VA went 566 draws without a triple
I believe Minnesota is str8 cheating they not playing any numbers or pairs really sucks.
Good thing no one is filing for bankruptcy 🙊
Cheating how? As far as triples? They almost came back to back. That is very rare for a one draw state. MN is not a good state to play in. One draw with a RNG. Honestly, I'd find out how to play other games. I cannot mention it. 33x or 55x looks like good doubles to play or a good single play is 15x
That's a true statistic, and very unusual because according to the odds, triples should occur once every 100 draws.
Virginia Pick 3 went from August 25, 2024, to June 4, 2025 without triples drawn (2 draws per day).
Georgia recently had 444 come in for over $5 million. Late May quad 9's came in for over $10 million
So happy for Virginia players, like Georgia, non RNG, correct?
In Kentucky we're still limited to $1 million liability and RNG. A couple of years ago had DM about increasing the liability limit and that was the end of that!
Now with me playing 018 str/box mid-day and evening draws for one week. Nothing. Of course with my luck, it came in today mid-day. Oh well, you can't win them all.
My question is how long does one have to play 4-4-4-4 before the number hits? Once you start playing twice a day for seven days a week for months at a time, that money adds. At some point you would have spent the 5K that you would win in buying the tickets.
The 4444 hit Tuesday night, then the 444s travelled to the pick three Wednesday night. Kind of have able if one is wired to think along those lines!
Ontario recently (Feb) went full RNG for pick 2/3/4/KENO and I quit playing shortly after. RNG is fishy, I don't trust it nor 'them' and so I no longer play. Watch that new, free documentary called 'Jackpot: America's Biggest Lotto Scam' on YouTube if you think rigging and inside jobs it don't happen. It will happen (and probably already is) again.
It looks like a tip off: 🙃🙃🙃
I stand to be corrected, but if each play is $1 and you play both draws a day $2 and do that daily 365 days, you'll spend $730 a year.
If you are guaranteed to win once a year and the amount is $5,000.
Well, you have hacked the lottery.
Correct, both GA and VA use mechanical ball machines. It's strange that you mentioned 018 in your post. I caught it in Michigan boxed. I had it straight as 801. On the 8th, I made a prediction for 64x to come in MI, and one of the numbers was 346, which hit straight tonight and I played everything expect that lol.
$1 million is pretty low for a two draw state! Louisiana only has one draw and theirs is at $2million
I thought Virginia had switched to RNG and didn't announce it. Because their game went 5x the due average! I saw one draw states pull more triples than VA did within the same time frame. But, apparently, there's a guy on Facebook and he was the reason for VA not getting triples. That's his unsubstantiated claim. Never in my life have I seen someone so arrogant about the lottery but knows absolutely nothing about the game.
They need to drop quad 3, it has never dropped
018 is the first three of my SSAN...a darn elusive set of #'s that I just can't catch!
That is just it, no pick 4 or any other draw number is guaranteed to get drawn within a given year. By playing the number 4444 daily for an entire year at $672 is not going to guarantee a top prize win of $5,000. South Carolina pick 4 lottery was established in 2003, and the number 4444 was not drawn there until January 2024. This means that someone in South Carolina playing 4444 daily would have to wait 22 years and have spent $14,112 to hit 4444, at a loss of $9,112. I think the lottery makes the bulk of its money on Pick3 and Pick4 games. People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars each year trying to win the top prize of $500 and $5000. They don't realize they have spend more money on tickets than the top prize they would receive. Then there are some people who win with their own strategies. I wish I was someone who had a guaranteed strategy that works, this is why I don't play the Pick 3, Pick 4 or Pick 5 games.
I used to do well on Pick 3 here in Texas, but when they went to 4 draws a day I quit. It is impossible to come out ahead playing 4 draws a day. And playing 2 draws a day means a good chance my numbers would fall on one of the 2 draws I didn't play.
And, I'm not implying the lottery would intentionally avoid my numbers from being drawn. Only that doubling the cost of play makes it twice as hard to come out ahead.

l love to win but this is a mess and the only ones to blame are Virginia Lottery commission. First and foremost most pick4 are capped in Florida at $5,000,000 if you try to buy it will say Liability limit reached so how one person could even buy $7,000,000 worth is insane for everyone. Lucky 🍀 for the player but silly for Virginia lottery for not setting $5,000,000 Liability limit like Florida lol 😝 🤠🙏 when I try to buy 0000 or 1111 in Florida it tells me you can't get one ticket Liability limits reached so how did only one person in the state of Virginia buy $7,000,000 worth Crazy 😜
Well how do you think we feel in Kentucky. They have a low $1 million liability limit.
I may email Georgia lotto to see what theirs is. Last week they paid out over $10 million on one of their draws, I think it was 9999.
Exactly my point So the lottery department are 100 percent responsible for all their Crazy 😜 Players lol
No, the Virginia lottery did not payout 7.9 million dollars to one person for the winning number of 4-4-4-4. The 7.9 million dollars was a cumulative payout, meaning a bunch of people played the number 4-4-4-4 and won.
ok Sounds much better lol 🤠 good for lots of people to win am in for that wait till 0000 or 1111 hit $10,000,000 payout lol
One of my Worst Lottery days in Florida. I was feeling something and l played 0000 for the first time said it was impossible play but played it for fun anyway. Behold it came 000 on the pick3 side l was in shock 😮. Another time played 703 $50 straight said l come bay and play combo fell asleep from play stress it came 730 won $0. Even though l knew 730 was hot was afraid to touch it strange . Have screwed up over $2,000,000 in lottery wins because l thought it was too easy 🤠. Another time had 6040 in mind for two days on my way to play change my mind it came 6040 cost me $40,000 win because after two hours l doubted myself.
Sounds like you need to start listening to your hunches and stop doubting yourself. You definitely could have had a good stack of cash by now
Yeah those 0000, 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444, 5555, 6666, 7777, 8888, 9999 are hot numbers with devoted fans. I am sure the payout will be 7 to 10M payout when they get drawn. I read that the number 123456 gets played by 10K people a day. A number like that, the jackpot would get divided. It reminds me of the TV show Lost. The character Hurley won 114M, so fans of the show had been playing his number: 4-8-15-16-23-42. In January 2011, the winning Mega Millions number was 4-8-15-25-47-42 with the jackpot of 355M, 26K people played that number and won $150 each, matching 4 of the 6 numbers.
Rare a state that rewards its players instead of always taking from the players.
No, 3-3-3-3 should not be dropped, just stop playing it. I do feel for anyone who has been playing quad 3 for the entire 36 year history of the Virginia Pick 4, that is a is a $24,192 loss.
