The Ohio Lottery posted the details of two possible replacements for the Super Lotto Plus game, and is asking readers for their opinion.

Details presented for each game include:

  • The size of the number pool

  • Price of each ticket

  • Number of plays per ticket

  • Jackpot starting size and payment options

  • Estimated number of winners per draw

  • Number of draws per week

  • Prize matrix with odds

One game concept appears to be similar to the Pennsylvania Lottery's Match 6 game, while the other game concept is a more traditional Pick 6-style game.

Readers are asked to rate the games in terms of how easy they are to understand, ability to select the numbers, jackpot size, and overall appeal.

The new game survey can be found at the following URL:

CASH Only

The Match 6 proposal is EXACTLY the same as the PA game.

Yeah, I saw it.  Only difference for the first game is the drawing days.  Only difference for the second game is the number of balls and the payouts.  It's amazing how much a basic pick 5 or 6  out of so many can be tweeked.  Actually, the 2nd game has appeal.  Low ods, good payout;  But I'd like a game where the average hit rate is 1 out of not more than 5 or 6 for no more than $2 worth of tickets.  (match 6 , Cash 5, scratch, etc.).

Good luck, Ohio.  Maybe the games can be further tweeked with some bonus or wild card balls.

CASH Only

Ohio's first priority is to boot "Kicker".
