First Steps with a new system: Taking Notes...
As I delve back into Excel system creation, I am trying to get better results than the dozens of previous attempts by keeping track of more details. Thistime I am using dated Post-Draw notes to get in depth as to where things went right and wrong. Mostly it's a way to capture a copy of ideas before I forget them. Below is my first entry for the PROfile Powerball system I am working on... PRO-file Predictive Decision System Failure Analysis for 2/7/2007 (wed....

The ShOcKiNg truth about powerball odds...
Before moving in a positive direction with my excel work against the PB, I gotta let out the negativity, so here goes... First, let's start on the same page, with the simplest of all games (nice round numbers), the straight pick 3. (not worth the time to get into box play) In pick 3, you are playing 3 sequential games of 1:10, you MUST match all 3 games correctly to have a straight hit. odds of first correct ball = 1:10 odds of also selecting the second correct ball =...

Requesting Ideas for SoniQ BOOM version 2

Combo D. first digit E. second digit F. third digit G. First vertical pair H. Second vertical pair I. third vertical pair and that's it... the FORMULAE will co...

beginning the SoniQ BOOM backtest sheet
this is a tough one, having to convert 3000 draws at a time (for each position, no less) and copy the values over the formulas to get recalc time to near zero... I am heading in the right direction, just slowly... in contrast, v-trac mirror backtest was a 10 minute affair, while I have been thinking of the SB backtest logic for DAYS until today it clicked. so far backtest results to beat for PA are 13 straight hits in v-trac (vs 11 in pure MODE() ) best ever was 26 hits over PA history...

The system gets a name...
the current announcer/precursor system on my excel workbench now has a name... the SoniQ BOOM system here is my goal, in a nutshell... to produce a set of 8 pick 3 combos to play based on the most frequent announcers but having the prequalified by the most frequent precursors. Basically, I am taking announcer theory and grafting it onto a binary filter system (such as v-trac strings or H/L,O/E) to extract 8 straight picks. AND, since it is locked by...

tntea and the v-trac lessons
thanks to tntea for openly showing everyone what pick 3 v-tracs are all about. As far as systems go, I'm definitely jaded, but proceeding with an open mind... I am most interested in the upcoming parts where interpretation of data is concerned. from this poiint forard I am maintaining what was taught so far in an excel sheet. copies freely available by dropping an e-mail (current sheet is vtrac_101, i expect to have a 102 and 103 as info comes out in tntea's threads in the l...

Base Number revisited...
Base Number, a simple concept... Rather than starting with the last draw or from nothing to track lottery results, start with a "base" number that has some statistical significance... such as the MODE or the MEDIAN... Each draw, measure the difference from the results to this base number and seek patterns and trends in the (now negative nad positive) delta data... I think that with my error correction mask, I made this concept harder in my own sheets than it needs to be... I m...
