New here :)
Welcome aboard! If you like playing the lottery, you'll have fun here. I played the Idaho lottery a few years ago but didn't win anything. It was still fun though. I was on a business trip to Boise and there was a convenience store just down the street that had tickets. The weekend after I got back I actually was playing the lottery in 3 states. I bought tickets in Idaho, bought tickets in Colorado when I changed planes at the Denver airport, then bought some in my home state of Louisiana.

Will you play Powerball more often before the Matrix change in 2015?
Just curious TSC ... what games do like to play in Idaho? Does Idaho have a 6/49 game or something similar? What game, if any, do you win on? ... a Cash 5 game? CW

Do you play a lottery other than your state lottery?
I only buy tickets from other states when I actually travel to them. I played the Pennsylvania lottery back in July when I was in Pittsburgh on business. A few years ago, I flew to Boise, Idaho through the Denver airport and bought tickets for the Idaho, Colorado, and my home state, Louisiana lotteries and played them all the same day. Didn't win anything though. I also played the Florida lottery when I had to attend a seminar in Tallahassee. Didn't get any winners there either. For the st

No Mega Millions advertising in Florida
I noticed that Idaho lottery has cut way back on advertising. I haven't seen a MM ad on TV in a year or more. And they just started the PowerBall ads with the last JP. They used to start when the JP was much lower. Idaho does advertise games on tickets. I can't tell you how many times I've wondered why I have a MegaMillions ticket in my PowerBall/Hot Lotto/Wild Card 2 stack. Upon closer inspection I see that's a MegaMillions ad on my Powerball ticket. I bet it's a lot cheaper than TV, and mus

Draw Results Delayed for Idaho games...
I am a VIP member for my state game and this is what I got in my email: Due to equipment issues we have been unable to do the draw for 7-30-09 for Pick 3 and Double Play Daily. We will announce the winning numbers when this gets resolved and we can complete the draw. Thanks for your patience. I was wondering why there were no numbers drawn for those two games. I wished they would quit using computer drawings and go to ball drawings. I wonder what numbers they will pick to be the winning nu

Why doesn't Utah have a lottery...
Chick I used to have the Idaho account for the lottery system provider. You can only run so many games and in a state with a small population like Idaho, its even tougher to have a healthy matrix - good prozes, good roll pattern. You also don't want to kill existing games. Its not as easy as it we would like it to be.

Wondering..how far have you ever driven to play the lottery?
I've never driven to just to play the lottery, other than to the local store around the corner. A few times, when I've been on the road in my own state, I've sometimes bought tickets at stores that weren't in my home town just to see if it would make a difference. A few months ago, I went on a business trip to Boise, Idaho, and I checked to see if there were any lottery vendors near my hotel and it turned out there was, so I bought tickets in the Idaho lottery. When I was returning home, t

Idaho's RNG (Video Included)
I am guessing that the Idaho Lottery has been getting some emails and calls wondering about how they draw their numbers so they created a page on their official site to show how great and honest RNGs are. (you should look at the Wild Card 2 drawings to see how random it really is.) Here is what they say and here is the video that they are using to promote RNG. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq2lSu-dEqU Hey Idaho Lottery, you know what is better then RNG? Using ball
