As near as I can tell, the odds against winning the jackpot in this game are about 272,277,720 to 1. Those are pretty formidable odds. And I thought PowerBall was a tough game! I'd say the jackpot moves up so slowly because they only draw once a week except on the Super Saturdays when they hold two drawings and award some merchandise prizes. Yes, the confusion of all the different ways to play and bet per state is what I'm trying to avoid.
