I won 2,000,000.00 Euros
I get a lot of Nigerian offers in Email asking me to collect my portion or fee for putting funds in my name, and giving the person their share. I know that's a scam, but this one caught my eye. But a red flag went up when I thought that if I really won, wouldn't I get a certified letter in the mail? Who kno

I Won a Lottery, and ...
...even more amazing is that I didn't even play. OK, this is another one of those scam emails I am sure everyone has received. Just in case there are any new-to-the-internet people out there, I thought I would post this to once again to warn everyone against falling for this scam (and the many other variations of this scam). These scams usually get around to trying to get your bank account information so they can steal your money. Or they will insist on a "processing fee" or some "tax" be

An email lottery scam I just got in my inbox !
I just got this email in my inbox a little while ago. Looks like a scam as I never entered into a lottery there. If you look down towards the end, it reads ... Due to mix up of some numbers and names, we ask that you keep your winning information confidential until your claims has been processed and your money remitted to you. This is part of our security protocol to avoid double claiming and unwarranted abuse of this program by some participants. That statement has sca
