lucky
After 7 wins, he has unselfishly dedicated himself to the success of fellow lottery players. How many would be so noble? This man should be honored. Todd may be considering some LP award as we write

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I need a new set of numbers for tonight's drawing so I used my handy Quicker Picker that I found laying around the house. I hope this turns out to be an award winning system that is world renowned and receives global acclamation and praise. 2-4-6-9-11-12-13-18-19-20-24-26-28-31-32-33-36-37-38-41-42-44-45-46-48-49-52-54 Bonus ball 8

anonymous vs. public disclosure
I think it is good for the playing public to see the real, non-lottery employee people claim the winnings. Anyone who wins in Illinois should WANT to move after winning. I know I will, and on top of that I would go on a year long world tour. So good luck trying to catch up to me and beg me for a handout. BTW do real people win Publishers Clearing House? You always see the ads before prize award, but never anything about the actual rewarding of the prize. So I just trash those mailings as soon

Second Chance Drawing For $5-10 Million.
Wow..... we have the same exact $2 game in NH (same name, except it is pick 4 numbers out of pool of 35, and 1 out of a pool of 35). But our multi-state game is different as they award 100 randomly picked ticket #'s $100 every week from our tri-state area automatically. (no need to enter your losing tickets on line). Have come close many times....but no cigar.

Second Chance Drawing For $5-10 Million.
Presently, with all participating states, there are varying secondary prizes being awarded for all LOSING scratch tickets per state. Prize levels typically are in the $5,000-$1,000,000 range. If all states pooled together, would you be interested in a $5-10 Million dollar instant secondary prize award? This would involve a modest $.25-1.00 surcharge per ticket depending on the denomination. ($1-$2-$5-$10-$20 etc.) Similar to the new Powerball enhanced odd's.

Rant About Greedy Non-Winners
Good point. After reading the article, I was a little disappointed in the way things turned out. Granted, winning the Lottery does not give someone a right to fulfill every single dream. Just seems it could have been different and for the better. :) For being in the public eye, it seems that Mr. Duke is doing an exceptional job of avoiding the typical pitfalls of the majority of Lottery winners. I am not even going to start on the opposite side of the spectrum, there's one well known failu

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Hilarious indeed! Rdgrnr should get a Yogi Berra Award for that one. Even more hilarious, there are people that feel the way rdgrnr described!

Considering the possibility of winning a major jackpot, do you think the rich should pay more taxes?
Yes, the award winning book, Perfectly Legal , documents how the rich wrote the tax code for themselves. The rich do not pay enough. Take corporations. A few years ago 41% of all federal taxes collected came from payroll taxes but only 7.9% came from corporations. Source: the nonpartisan Center on Budget Policy and Priorities.
