What are the Odds??
To all you math kids out there! I've been following this website for years, but never posted. BUT,,,,what are the odds THAT: in Illinois, on Monday the 19th, 179 hit in the Pick 3, with a fireball of 8 in the EVE draw. Guess what hit on the Mid day draw on Tuesday, the 20th, but 791......with a fireball of 8????? OK....mnnn.....random computer generated??? Yea, ok!!!!! I've never seen this...in the 30 plus i've been watching pick 3......getting the same three is hard enough, but with the firebal

hello powerball reduction of 11,238,513 to 47,905
The only thing We achieve is just tackle a smaller set first but at the end, when We expand to 5 positions, We would still be facing the same odds. Also playing pick 3 as pick 3 000 to 999 with odds per position as math averages, etc. won't be same for the middle 3 powerball or megamillions numbers. Odds of 0 to 9 as last digits and odds of 0 to 6 are entirely different. I left 7 in MM as only 70 will be there and that goes only under position 5. Even the 0-9 will have varying c

For the Powerball the best bet is to shoot for the 2nd and below prizes, it looks like it's set at 1 million and each winner gets 1 million. But the odds are 1 in 11,688,053.52 the regular pick 5 games have better odds,

But for the life of the group, the group buys over 1,000 tickets. Then the odds of winning are about 1 in 300,000. Impossible to get those odds on any national or state game when playing as an individual and aiming to win over $1 million.

the odds on buying one ticket and winning are 1 in 302.5 million for the mega millions and 1 in 292.2 million, hence the reason players and groups buy multiple tickets. They are many things that folks would be surprised have better odds than these.

Let's try and wake up this Pick 10 N.Y. site
I believe I have broken the odds down into my favor of the three number hits that I get in take 5,they are no longer one in 103 I play 70 games at the end of the week and I'll hit three numbers 2 to 3 times I believe I've broken down those odds in my favor,

Have your Lottery-Playing Habits Changed?
Personally, I wouldn't touch scratch-offs, at least not here in FL The odds or so much worse than the drawing games and there is major inconsistencies in them as well For example, there is the Loteria game #1530 where the top prize is $50K with odds of 1: 2.6 million(!) while just a few spots away is game #1523 Cash Blast which also has a $50K top prize and battling 1: 702,000 odds Clearly, the 2nd game would be the smarter decision in this scenario, but why would I do that when

When is the right time to hang your lottery boots?
Most state and provincial lotteries still offer 50 cent straight and box pick 3 and pick 4 wagers so those that playing games like that for years probably still play them. It's different with the major jackpot games that made several game changes through the years. Considering players wager $2 to beat 1 : 14,494 odds just to win $100 in PB or 1 : 38,792 MM odds to win the same $500 they can win playing against 1 : 1000 odds for a $1 wager. IMO, the big difference between then and now is the

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
What Stat fails to understand is that odds of any game are determined by..... MATH. Math is how odds are found. As far as deception , Stat is swimming in a river called de-nile , believing LO's are deceiving players. LOL...with the odds of these games we are up against, they don't have to deceive anyone. If they were, there would never be a winner. Here's a guy that believes LO's are cheating players, yet he will spend money on a lottery ticket. I've never seen anyone with less comm
