Good luck winning it. I tried for years and couldn't do it. I tried studying the numbers and looked at it from all kinds of different angles. The odds make it near impossible to get much out of it. Now with lower jackpots I don't care to continue to chase. It takes near 80-1 odds to just win a small dollar amount prize. Getting 4 numbers is very rare and all 5 seems a lot harder than what the odds say.

Today when I bought my JPT tickets I looked at the back of the play slip to see what the odds are of winning a jackpot. For some reason I was thinking they were approximately 9 million to 1. Not so! Because you get three lines on each ticket, the odds are approximately 3 million to 1. That's not too bad odds to win 2 million. I'll still wait for the jackpot to get to at least 1 million before I play, but if I have to play a game that draws six numbers, I'll take JPT every time. G5

You know here's my point and you have to really look at it this way you've been breaking the odds of one in every 102 games getting these three number hits even anytime you put the odds in your favor. it's an incredible advantage ,think of it as playing blackjack at the casino. The house no longer has an advantage. You now have the advantage. Let's keep it up guys and get some big ones.

You were correct that the odds of winning JPT are 1 in 9366819. Since there are three lines on each ticket, the probability of winning JPT is 3 in 9366819. You were also correct that the Florida Lottery is claiming that the odds per ticket is 1 in 3,122,273, which is misleading at best, and incredibly ignorant/predatory at worst... My apologies for cluttering the Fantasy 5 thread; dog with a bone...

With the addition of the midday drawing in March of last year (and I still say that was a whopper of a mistake on the part of The Florida Lottery. They certainly did NOT do players any favors) there are now 60 to 62 drawings per month. (As opposed to 30 to 31 in the good old days.) That's why all 36 FF5 numbers are usually drawn every month. Although there aren't many jackpot winners with JPT, you really are better off playing it than FF5. All JPT jackpot winners have won at least multi hundred thousand dollar jackpots. Some have won more than a million. FF5 winners don't win greater than $100,000 all that often. If you look at the FF5 top prize and retailer information report, you'll notice that more often than not, the jackpot payout is less than $100,000. Florida really messed it up with the addition of the mid draw. I play both because of the fact you have a better chance of hitting 4 for the $555 at mid, at least that is my feeling. Lo and behold, on Tuesday I got a free ticket for mid draw and hit 4 with no winners. So there you go. I have never won on a free ticket before. I will continue to play mid only for the odds of hitting 4. Better than the Pick 3 because they messed that one up too with their draws to test the machine.

There have been 558 drawings since the first of this year and #27 has appeared in 90 of them. It's the hits leader followed by #35 with 87 hits. In a rolling years time (11/15/2022 to 11/14/2023) #27 has a total of 109 hits and is ranked 6th. #10 is ranked first with 117 hits during that time frame and #35 at 116. I'm guessing that #27 will finish this year with over 100 hits, so there are enough drawings left for players to maybe win a few bucks playing it. You do yourself an enormous

To each his/her own and members do have the freedom to post whatever they want, but I hear ya about the odds/evens posts. I simply ignore them as I already have the same info in my software. I've cut way back on playing FF5... cant remember when the last time I played was... I've turned to JPT. After somebody wins JPT I might play some evening draws but I dunno. I realize I'm turning my nose up at a possible $140,000 win, but chances are good that it will be split among multiple winners anyw
