Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I our opinion, this is what you're really getting.
We love the odds of getting 5 White Balls without the Mega Ball and a x10 is worse than winning the Jackpot itself.
This is why the Odds are a mess...

Lottery Post for the Hobbyist and Serious Lottery Player
If you can prove me wrong, go right ahead and do so.
This is basic probability theory. The drawings are independent, and the numbers drawn are uniformly distributed, which makes the odds calculation trivially easy.

Numbers submitting Cutoff Time
A group of mathematicians, led by Stefan Mandel, developed strategies to increase their odds of winning lotteries, including Powerball. They calculated the total number of combinations and pooled resources to buy tickets covering many combinations, which allowed them to win multiple times legally. The Independent thehustle.co

Mega Millions jackpot increases
The average jackpot size when it is won will be higher (approximately double) because the higher ticket price has a higher contribution to the jackpot, with nearly the same odds of winning.
It won't grow fast when it's low because it's so expensive. I'm surprised anyone is playing. I guess there are a lot of people out there who have been playing the same numbers for 20 years and can't stop.

Is there any method or system that can an predict the first digit that will fall in Pick 3
Let's try this with the simple game of Pick 3.
In Pick 3, there are 1,000 combinations, from 000 to 999, all of which have the same probability of being the winning combination.
Let's say you purchase one ticket. You pick 567 and bet $1. If the winning combination is 567, you win $500. Your chances of winning is 1 in 1000, because you have bet on one combination out of 1,000 equally likely combinations.
Now let's say you decide to purchase a second ticket for the same drawing. You pi

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
[Again] After millions of people threw away $5 on the new game format, I wonder how many of them will come back for more punishment
Including the sales forecast for Tuesday's drawing MM is reporting revenue of a hair over $72 million for the first 3 drawings of the current run. That's 12.5% more than the $64 million in revenue for the first 3 drawings of the last run. That said, it may not be indicative of what we'll see after another few drawings because whenever the jackpot gets to about
