Why do people try to justify their desire to win the Lottery?
I think many of us do feel guilty about wanting alot of money for ourselves. After all, from the time we were knee high to a bug we've heard how money is the root of all evil, how it will be easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than a rich man to make it to heaven. Trash like that. And who hasn't heard rich people referred to in derogatory terms just because they're rich? Like rich bi*tch or referring to the high income area as snob hill. Just Curious...if one could win a major lottery payout that resulted in more then $20 million gross (before taxes), what percentage would you dedicate to a charity (of your choice)?Speaking entirely of myself and myself alone, I would allocate funds in the amount of $1.6 million gross to each of my direct family members (daughter, brother, sister, neices nephews - cousins don't count) and allocate about 5% to local pet shelter our family supports and another 5% amongst other various charities.
