Legal question?
The 2006 annual exclusion for gift tax is $12,000 not $10,000. The annual lifetime exclusions change from time to time, so it's always best to check with the IRS or a CPA. This is not illegal or cheating. You can also pay premiums for medical insurance, medical bills and school tuition. The IRS has a list of these gifts. It's a legal way of reducing one's estate tax before death. Most of the time the donor pays any gift tax above the legal exclusion, not the recipient of the gift, but they

If you are a current LP member or Guest and you won ...
but even if I did happen to win the jackpot using LP's QP generator, I wouldn't be compelled to give credit as you put it because I don't see how, in this situation, credit would need to be given. Now, if someone actually asked me directly where I got the numbers, then yeah, I'd say I got them from this site. Hmmmm... Your Statement would be similar to you having an affair/cheating, and when your spouse/ gf, bf asks you Guru, are you having an affair/ cheating you would say Yes .. and the on

What state will win the Mega Millions jackpot
Exactly! Uninquiring minds prefer to engage in appeals to ridicule and ad hominems, because they virtually always lack the ability to engage in intelligent argumentation/debate. If you look at the history of lotteries and gambling in this country, the level of cheating/criminality is enormous. Lottery commission scandals are fairly common, with state governors/legislatures and law enforcement frequently having to step in. The computer age has made cheating/criminality that much easier.

winning too much!
I wouldn't be concerned about the cashier thinking I'm cheating, but if they're that petty I would worry about them turning me in to the IRS. If they made it clear they think I'm cheating and don't sound like they're teasing me, I might report them to their boss and to the state lottery commission. That's very poor customer service. Then I'd find a few other places to cash my tickets and alternate among them. The only times I've heard of a lottery investigating frequent winners is when they h

winning too much!
I just want to know, if there anyone who wins a lot have any problems cashing in their tickets. what I mean is tickets $500 or under.. Say you win 4 times in a week..and cash your ticket at the same place, and the cashier after your third win tells you that you must have more then luck and hints you are cheating. I mean if someone wins alot..can the lottery or a agent suspect you are cheating and not cash your tickets?

Have you ever been acused of cheating by a store clerk?
I consistantly win 3 spot keno with a $10.00 bet for a payout of $470.00. Of course I lose alot, but I turn it around and win again. Everyday I turn in my ticket to collect and the clerk is happy for me. But today she said that she should have been keeping my old tickets cause somethings up with this. I aways tell her it's good odds at 1-72 and she should get a few. Kinda weird, just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them.

What Would You do If You Knew The Lotteries were Cheating and You Could Prove It?
Just because you don't see a need for it doesn't make it cheating. Even if we can prove that there's absolutely no reason to do pre-tests or change machines, it still isn't cheating. None of that does a single thing to change the odds, much less slant them in the favor of the lotteries. You may not understand it, but it's really very simple. They're going to have an unknown number of drawings, and only one of them is going to count. As long as we know ahead of time which drawing will count, a

What Would You do If You Knew The Lotteries were Cheating and You Could Prove It?
The lottery holds test draws supposedly to prevent malfunction and cheating. Assume they keep records of the test draws, they would know the Hot and Cold numbers from each ballset. They hold one or more ballsets out from the regular rotation until the rollover grows large enough to be worth continuing into big sales several times a year, then they unleash the ballset they know is more likely to draw a less likely to be chosen combination so the rollover continues. When they handicap horses no on

winning the powerball or megamillions
Never would I try and cheat the IRS. Cheating the IRS is pretty close to cheating the mob in my mind, only you get to live afterwards. Nor would I ever trust someone to claim the ticket for me. Any debts I have would get paid first - mortgage, car loan, credit cards, and the parent student loan. I don't owe any back taxes thank goodness. Then the money is mine to do with as I please. But not before I satisfy those who have trusted me enough to loan money to me. It's called honor and trust.

The State should get sued: how i feel..
I hear you. Trust me when I tell you, I know all about gamblers and gambling addictions. I work in a casino! However, don't go running and praising online gambling. Online gambling will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER be fair or true because of hackers and crackers. If this wasn't the case, casino owners would have set up online gambling sites long ago. Just do a google search and on cheating at online gambling or cheating at online poker and you will see the reason why they are not going
