Texas Lottery to expand ticket sales at checkout lanes
Never been there. We have Ainsworth 'slot' machines here in Louisville. State law prohibits real slot machines, on these you play and hit show race results and they come up and that's how you win/lose on the 'slot' machine. They have the same ones in Indiana; I don't like Ainsworth machines. I'm not confused one bit. One in Lexington area, just over the border from TN and our Louisville one. Don't know about NKY @ Turfway. Churchill Downs conveniently owns the property Derby City Gaming is on. I

Undercover Kentucky Lottery investigation snares three store employees trying to steal prizes
The current biggest problem in KY is funding teachers pensions, but trying to convict three store clerks of very questionable charges seems to be a top priority. A state legislator is trying to purpose a bill that would allow Internet gambling, including sports betting, and poker and use the profits to help fund teachers pensions. Even though it makes sense, it will never get out of committee. There is a store near me that should be an integrity investigation target because they would cheat a

WV Lottery not backing online gaming law this session
Myers said the Lottery wants to get through the rollout of sports betting apps at the state's five casinos before pursuing legislation to broaden iGaming further. And that's why the WVA Lottery is near the top of the nation's best lotteries.

DC Lottery to payout $127K for reporting wrong winning numbers
For such a small lottery, they sure have some integrity. Other states as LP members can attest to just simply shrugged their shoulders and that was it. Go for IGT for your Sports Betting.

Massachusetts treasurer continues campaign to allow online lottery sales
All excellent points, Stack47. With the advent of a few states offering sports betting this year, do you anticipate revocation/modification of that 1961 prohibiting interstate lottery ticket purchases? Ironically when that law was written there were only a handful of state lotteries if I'm not mistake. Personally I'd like to be able to purchase tickets from other states sans subscription services.

Free lottery ticket wins N.J. woman $1K a week for life
Bleudog101, I found the following on USAMEGA FAQ. All California lottery winnings are paid out on a Pari-Mutuel basis. I have no idea how L4L or Cash4L pays its winners. I will leave that up to the CA Lottery Commission. I agree with your stance on sports betting. The CA Lottery is here to fund Education. My small way to support CA schools.

Funny I had to read it twice because my thoughts were like yours. Sent IGT A FB message asking them if they will be handling this sports betting or not; heck they're not even @ work yet!

WV Lottery Commission establishes rules for sports betting
How many lottery directors really know the ins and outs of sports betting? They'd be far better off recruiting established bookies.

All Delaware Wawa stores adding self-service lottery machines
Heard on the radio that Delaware is ready to start taking BETS on most major sports. They were already doing a little bit on the NFL, but now have expanded it to all major sports. I think it starts Tuesday. Wonder if they will expand the self-service machines to include sports betting?

U.S. Supreme Court overturns federal sports-wagering ban
The federal law did not cover all the states...only most of the states. That was a major deciding factor. Although I have zero interest in sports betting, I support states making their own decisions without big brother regulating everything.
