I never participate in lottery pools because of potential problems like this. In Western Australia, the State Lottery, Lotterywest, is owned and run by the State Government. The other Australian States have sold off their lotteries. Lotterywest also has an excellent App, where people can participate in lottery draws. It is much more convenient than paper tickets.
