I don't where you got that info from, but last I heard was 25% of sales were online for that winning drawing. I still buy my tickets at the local stores and the lottery machines seem to be alive well. In fact walmart just installed a lottery kiosk about a year ago.

Not only that, but no one has ever purchased a losing ticket in Illinois buying them online. No one buys their tickets at gas stations or grocery stores there anymore...in fact some retailers got rid of lotto due to poor sales.

This was the perfect jackpot win. It is not known where the ticket was purchased, only online, so no one really has any approximate pinpoint to where the winner could be. Also, because IL allows anonymous claim, no one will know the identity of the winner, either! C'mon now DeSantis! Let us Floridians do online sales and complete anonymity!
